et’s get this right: Md. Salleh’s Roti Prata (Prata comes from a North Indian term Paratha that is a pancake kind or a flat kind of breads) is fluffy, crispy, includes a lovely texture and certainly delicious. What moves nicely with the roti isthe tender and flavourful beef rendang. You certainly have to attempt the beef rendang right here. It was just excellent. The beef was beautiful and tender and the fantastic coconut taste was tasty. There was a bite to the curry and the spice ranking was somewhere within mild and moderate. It hits the location. Just wonderful, authentic Malaysian food. Take a look if you are in Taman Pelangi, Johor Baru. This can be a MUST stop (www.perfyi.wordpress.com)

Should try out this Roti canai. An alternative solution to mamak's roti! If the roti is very hot or chilly the softnesss of the roti remained. As soon as you taste it just forget about roti at mamak shop

This an excellent typical malay design roti canai / prata. Good - prata isn't oily, fluffy and soft. Two plain wouldn't normally be enough. - good mix of dhal + sambal. Hits the location after consuming mamak's prata for some time. - try ordering'onion prata' or even 'pasted prata aka roti tampal' . with fried egg with dripping yolk pasted to an ordinary prata + the dhal. that's it, my mouth area waters every time talking about this. - You can go best up your gravy/dhal yourself or even make your personal concoction. Not so good - Service can be sluggish, even on regular weekday morning, when there is any family members made a big takeaway order. - Seating inside cafe is really a bit stuffy. Choose the pavement (outside) - Usually do not eat nasi lemak ayam - RM5.50 is overpriced and its own not that good. Tips, in case you are traveling, please park and screen parking voucher. The enforcers are energetic around this area. For me its the very best prata up to now in Johor Bahru, until I possibly could test bukit Chagar stall.

Their Roti Canai are flakey and their size are simply nice. It's flavor is really great. Roti Telur Bawang is actually crispy and delicious. Include with a Malaysian beverage, Teh Tarik. That wasn't really that great, it's not excellent to drink

Wnenever I visit JB., my 1st job is always to discover the tastiest roti prata for breakfast the next morning! On my current trip I has been tempted to the 'restaurant' by the testimonials written by others. Regrettably I was very dissatisfied by the knowledge! Thechef/prepare or the dog owner must have experienced a bad day time? The roti had been neither crispe or flakey, or delicious, the curry sauce has been watery and incredibly bland, the tea tarik had been that! The 'ambience' has been lacking everything, if you don't are the 'grumpy' cashier (owner's wife I really believe, in accordance with other reviews). Nevertheless, you do get 'appropriate tables and chairs'! Actually the entire experience had been a waste materials of time, I possibly could have attended my faviourite eatery at Bukit Chagar. Why perform others rated this therefore highly?

That is my 2nd take of the roti canai shop - after frequently visiting them each and every time I'm in JB. Since Aug 2013 - till Dec 2013, the product quality , quantity and knowledge degraded everytime I check out them. The worst was the other day. Theonly positive thing is Good - Dhal with sambal - nevertheless ok. - Just need few mix in the pot , it must be thick enough. - Its roti, nevertheless crispy but have unfavorable point now Not so good - The roti now could be a large as my palm. At RM1.00, two items is just equal to 1 parts to other shops. - Cashier aunty getting grumpier by day time, and have the appears that everyone which come to her store owe their gratitude to her for marketing this roti canai. An average msian shop mindset (after getting good company) - I misheard her telling RM2.80, and paid RM3, then was yelled " what else u want? It had been RM3.80!" . RM3.80 for just two 2 simple palm sized prata and the nescafe tarik. - Usually do not eat nasi lemak RM2.00, the poultry is additinal RM3.50 is overpriced for a little wing. Tips, in case you are traveling, please park and screen parking discount. The enforcers are energetic around this area. I will revisit once again Bukit Chagar as my previous check out had not been that good. Probably its time to provide it another chance. @spc2008 - the roti canai maker is changed, or even mistaken 2-3month back. U can nevertheless google for blog evaluations of the outlet to start to see the initial roti canai maker.

I actually went and tried this about Saturday early morning. The roti will be thick but will be soft. Not crunchy. However the Roti Planta will be nice. The purchase price is higher. One little bit of Sotong price RM4 / RM6. Is incredibly high. We purchased 5 roti kosong, 1 rotiplanta, 2 regular nasi lemak and 2 ice milo. Price us RM40++ I understand is Ramadan time period. They refuse to assist my Indonesia maid which she actually is Orlando. I informed them that she actually is indonesian but will be Orlando. The server start stating she is nevertheless an Indonesian we shouldnt function her. Helps make my mood turns Poor. But i disregard her and allow my maid eat.

The prata is definitely designed to order and is crispy and flakey, just just how it's said to be. The location can get really crowded at peak hrs for meals which is to be likely. Nice consistent high quality though you might reek from thesmell of prata afterward!

A different one of Johor Bahru's meals gem. I've been likely to Md Salleh since i have was a kid therefore the fortnightly weekend break breakfast is definitely nostalgic. The magic combo is usually having Roti Kosong (purchase 2 coz its little), Beef Rendang and Sambal Sotong (cuttlefish).Mmmm..Delicious! ...still taste exactly the same like when i had it more than 20 years ago. I must say i detest siting in the store cause its therefore humid/hot and always make an effort to wait for both tables that's in the sidewalk.

The roti canai is more costly compare to another roti canai places but I'll say its taste cut that beats all others. Their roti canai will be crispy and flaky. In addition to the curry is solid and delicious. The mixture between your roti and curry ispretty heavenly. Furthermore, their curry will be free flow so that you can take just as much as you one. In addition they offer a number of curry such as for example chicken, fish and also beans. I would suggest to arrive during breakfast period as possible pretty crowded in case you are late.
