When you're able to count Royalty, Politicians and an extended string of influential businessmen simply because your loyal clients, you're cooking something best! 'Botak' means bald inside malay. The restaurant proprietor is 'botak'. That states everything on his eating place signboard. Ordered their signature dishes; a steamingAssam Pedas Seafood offered in claypot, Fried regional seafood, grilled squid and mix fried green vegies. The complete table has been slurping up the beautiful nice, sour and spicy Assam Pedas gravy. Just what a sumptuous lunch! Definately JB's Top 10 must eat restaurants.

Probably the very best Assam Ikan Kepala I've had. Perfectly level is spiciness. Runs well with salted seafood bean sprout and omelette. So excellent, I delivered some back again to Singapore.

This place is crucial choose makan in JB if you are here. It really is so close by the Woodlands CIQ and strolling distance from there. The food served is fantastic and the asam pedas is indeed nice! The otak can be good, the omeletteis excellent. The sambal kang kong can be nice to the flavor. The neighborhood lime juice and do-it-yourself barley and chrysanthemum can be great to accompany the meals.

Frequented by mainly locals, this place can be found at Stulang Luat, close to the malaysian customs. It really is nicely tucked alongside the primary street and is infamous because of its Claypot Assam Fish Mind. Apart from the reputed dish, the surprising dish that won all of them wasthe crispy fried seafood topped with the sprinkle of lighting soy sauce. The freshness of the fish here's tantalising and lovely to the palate. Some dishes to reccomend would be the girlled fried squid, assam fishhead not to mention the crispy fish. Being truly a halal eatery, the muslim friends will undoubtedly be pleased to savour this particular chinese restaurant using its reasonable costed "zhi char (indicates wok fried)" items. Great location for a family group lunch.

Service was the lil slow because it was lunch period but it was worthy of the wait around!! Their otak-otak is the greatest so far (way much better than Muar’s) and it’s covered in banana leaf as well.

First time struggling this restaurant recommended by colleagues. The fried seafood is crispy and excellent. Asam pedas is not any question a bomb. It emerged so sizzling the pot had been nevertheless boiling. Otak otak will be surprisingly good aswell. This place opens just from 7.30am- 3.30pm only. we arrived by 11.30am and the area was full by 12 to at least one 1 pm. You can find only limited forms of beverages. Barley, Chrysanthemum and Lime. Parking is tough to obtain as well.
