As somebody who loves meatballs but can be super-picky about meatballs, We was either likely to love to or dislike this place. The initial Hock Heng opened up in Kampung Pandan a lot more than sixty years back by the founder, therefore the famous title, Pandan beef ballnoodles. When I has been a lad, my grandpa would from time to time get me there for a plate of noodle. This Hock Heng location nevertheless maintains its mojo - but it’s simply missing a little bit of extra oomph. Getting had gazillions beef balls considering that my childhood sojourns to Kampung Pandan, I was, therefore, expecting some type of top-of-the-mill beef noodle - in the end, good initial impressions stick to you forever. This branch at Taman Sri Tebrau had been quiet mainly deserted. The signature beef balls are usually very good - meaty, strong, springy (I’d swear they might bounce on to the floor if I’d dropped them) and crunchy - not as well over-the-top. Though not really the lip-smacking great, I'm happy to report that is Johor Bahru’s best! Continue ballin’ Hock Heng! This is actually the true truth when i say it since it is… (www.perfyi.wordpress.com)

They will have excellent beef balls. The beef balls are strong externally but crunchy inside. Some places put in a great deal of flour within their meat balls and therefore giving a starchy flavor, but not the people at Hock Heng. I would recommendthis spot to anyone who craves for a plate of good beef golf ball noodles.

The shop has been here for about 26 years and today it's running by 2nd & 3rd generation of the household business. It really is Hakka design beef noodle and began 60 years back at Pandan. Our usual purchase is meehon combine soup(rice noodle, beef balls, tendon, flank & steak), kuey teow soup steak & balls, and a supplementary bowl of steak just soup. For more refreshing and meaty taste, it is possible to request to eliminate fried shallots oil. Overall price is RM36. It really is excellence for maintaining exactly the same beef balls more than 3 generations, kudos to the household!
