We celebrated our LNY reunion seven days prior to the actual date in order to avoid crowds, sub-standard foods quality, mass creation, and profiteering fees. The feminine captain was competent, effective, pleasant & accomodating. We'd 9 classes and every training course was prepared to perfection, stunning plating, adequateportions and helping was prompt. Waiting Employees was effective in clearing utilized cutleries, replenishing new types and topping up beverages cheerfully, never as soon as with a sour encounter. Ambience was grand, suit for emperors. Furnishing beautifully performed. Toilets were clear & spacious, rather than foul smell much like many within JB. Carpark was ample. There have been 12 folks and we had an excellent hearty lunch.

Cathay overtaking the ex - Taison came as the surprise to us time back again. We visited to celebrate Mommy's birthday celebration and purchased butter prawns, barbecued extra ribs, lemon poultry, claypot tofu and crispy chaitan. All were tasty well introduced and flavorsome. The assistance waspretty prompt despite getting almost packed and price fair.

It was the sunny Sunday afternoon, the marriage banquet was lightly decorated and well arranged. It is the only lunch time banquet that day. Started with "cool dish" that was ready made meals, then your chicken herb soup along with scallop, mushroom and zhu sheng that was heavilyseasoned. Accompanied by overcooked steamed clean grouper, the pork stewed with large bone tasted good regardless of the presentation had not been. The vege and dessert had been typical. Overall quite disappointed, because the ingredients were great plus some were expensive, it may be better.

Cathay is really a popular cafe for events and features thanks to its big premises and dedicated car parking area. However, I've generally found the meals to be very typical and lacklustre at greatest. The majority of the dishes are very oily. It is also irritating tryingto get any services, particularly when a function can be on. They don't appear to have/hire good enough staff to take care of additional functions.

Unfortunately I've nothing good to state concerning this place. We visited Cathay eating place scouting for wedding ceremony banquet locations. We chosen the RM138 established (serves 5-7 pax). Provider was slow, plates weren't changed through the entire meal. Once the dishes arrived, we werepuzzled to note that they were nothing beats what we ordered. Whenever we asked the cafe manager for a conclusion, she explained that your kitchen ran out of okra (the dish had been okra with squid in mushroom sauce) and rather they swapped with long coffee beans in chilli at their very own will. They might have well informed us beforehand or at the very least after discovering the offer shortage, however the supervisor (surnamed ?Tsen) was adament they had done nothing at all wrong. We were spending money on better meals but were rather given cheaper foods and worst of most, subpar customer support. Too bad. I'll not recommend this eating place to my most severe enemy. Sorry but there's much to be enhanced on.

This time around we ordered the set dinner menu for 10 people, and were greatly surprised to find the fantastic value with quality food. Our guest from UK was happy with the support and food. General, it had been a pleasant experience. The manager was really helpfuland knowledgeable in recommending meals for various occasions.

Attended a birthday social gathering for a pal at Cathey Eating place Taman Molek. Also it had been an an 8 course supper including dessert. I came across the meals to be satisfactory. The cold dish experienced a good presentation however the taste was average. This is followedby the longevity noodles has been acceptable. The seafood maw soup was appear bland. Most likely the best dish may be the Peking Duck that was accompanied by another duck dish. Take note I normally usually do not partake duck. The fish, vegetable with abalone and dessert of jelly with longans was simply average in taste and presentation. To conclude, that is an average cafe which mainly attracts banquet.
