Folks searching for hipster cafés may be acquainted with Mount Austin, a fairly remote section of Johor Bahru around fifty percent an hour's drive from the town center, as that is home to numerous quirky hipster cafés. Bloom by Mokmok could be a small hardto come across if you're not shopping for it, because the unassuming black external is hidden between home furniture stores on the row of shop homes. Honestly it feels similar to a pub when compared to a café, however the subdued neon & hot lights look good if you ask me. The laundry are Japanese fusion, with hefty burgers matched with chilli-flake infused onion chips or earl grey tea-based syrup poured over custard dessert. Prices have become reasonable too, with most meals at round the 25 MYR variety and a nice sit down elsewhere at 9 MYR. It's among my new beloved cafés inside Johor Bahru, and I'm definitely returning for more!

I had a wonderful encounter here! Me and my pal drove right here from Singapore on a Thurs afternoon. It had been our 1st stop for food. The ambience really was nice, it had been dark and cosy, real nice setting for a romantic date. If you arethinking of getting your book here to learn for hours at finish, don’t bother as you won’t have the ability to read inside. Blossoms were hung from the ceiling, giving the cafe its iconic title, “Bloom”. That apart, it certainly will not smell like plants within. I wonder why. In any case... I thought this is yet another hipster cafe and expect small from the pricy foods. But when the meals arrived, I was amazed. The quality was great and the part was massive for the purchase price! We purchased duck sandwich (23RM), and Big breakfast (30RM). Beverages had been earl grey milk tea (8RM?), and mocha, can’t remember the purchase price. The duck had been gentle and succulent and the loaf of bread that arrived with it, toasted simply fine and distribute with a generous quantity of butter. The earl grey milk tea was just a little diluted, not necessarily to my liking. The mocha though, really was good. It had been thick and flavourful! Honestly, will certainly come here once again for the nice relax atmosphere and great meals. What’s never to like!?

Tried this lately and the gem of a location . Food was tasty and staff extremely useful . The romantic ambience is most beneficial for couple outing ! Dessert soufflé was smooth and delicious . Tried the poultry burger also it was really yummy
