We liked a delicious food here tonite. There had been seven family and two family close friends. My favourite dish had been the tilapia in a spicy orange sauce. However the other meals - dau foo, the restaurant's signature dish, salted egg poultry, prawn noodles, aubergineand natural coffee beans and a lettuce preparing - were all excellent too. The dinner was excellent value and I am hoping to visit again later on!

We were in Ipoh Aged Town looking for authentic seafood cuisine with that Perak impact and quick search engines through up Weng Kee. I would recommend booking beforehand as it’s nicely patronized. It’s a little venture therefore prepare to hold back and accommodate their degree of service.Once your meal arrives your endurance will be rewarded 10 fold. That is amazing foods for a good price. Really worth a revisit

We came with my children of 5 (2mth old baby not wanting to eat) without booking at 6.45pm and restaurant has been nice enough to provide us a desk with a reservation from 7.45pm. I observed every desk was reserved. Cafe was limited by 10 tables of varioussizes from 5 to 12 seaters. I ordered a steam ocean bass with thai tom yam sauce soup that was really fresh. The soup acquired tom yam like bottom with lemon grass stems and refreshing cilantro with 5 chilli padi floating. I furthermore purchased the signature fried noodles with prawn. The broth really was good with the serious fried sharp noodles to absorb all that broth and prawn had been very fresh. I furthermore ordered the heavy fried squid calamari diced with salted egg. The calamari has been very clean and batter was great. But I favor the plain batter. General, i was amazed the bill arrived to RM110. Meals such as this in Singapore could have been triple the purchase price, and perhaps i might not also obtain the same taste. Well worth simply because have been strongly suggested already simply by many customers when u google. +1 happy customer who'll definitely return!

Weng Kee is really a little neighbourhood cafe in Ipoh Backyard South that is around for several years. The food here's great and it's popular amonst the locals. Because seating is bound, also it gets popular during the night I would help you to makereservations for supper.

How could they help make my parents that are old (within their 60s) wait outdoors when those that came afterwards (and probably much better dressed) wait inside? :( That's just therefore mean. Furthermore, because my parents didn't order much, those that came later on receivedtheir orders very first. My moms and dads waited for nearly an hour no food came.

We were in 2 thoughts whether we have to do another local eating place however the reviews were tempting. We ordered sambal petai with ikan bilis, salted poultry, strong fried sotong, homemade beancurd, steamed pork stomach & yam, pork tummy with salted seafood and finally finished withegg custard. All of the dishes were exceptional and with nothing at all to fault. A 5 star connection with local dishes. The service was attentive and the dog owner, Michael was friendly to sit around sharing his stories. His 2 sons helm your kitchen now. Price was affordable, approximately RM$300. Highly recommended.

Popular little restaurant with realistic pricing. The prawns with bean threads was excellent. Lala clams steamed with egg has been great. Steamed tiger grouper and steamed poultry was ok. Service could be slow if they're busy.

That is definitely my version of the area. I have already been frequenting this location for days gone by 5-6 years regularly. Through the years we've seen this location getting more and much more popular specifically over weekends. We're able to understand why. The meals was great andreasonably priced. They got some time to connect to the patrons. It had been a good family location. With the surge of patrons, somehow the characteristics that attracted us relatively diminished as time passes. Now the meals is common and the price not. Since our last go to, we have unfortunately made a decision to drop this eating place off our set of family gatherings, that was a pity, result in it was previously among our favourites.

Foods is amazing and cost is fairly reasonable. We went two times and tried different meals. All were great.
