First visit here. Dissatisfied with the meal. Poultry was overly hard and chewy. Discovered later that it's free variety or kampong chicken meats. Employees said this is one way such chicken meat ought to be. I beg to differ. I've tasted kampong chicken meats umpteen times and also have no problem using its chewiness. Which means that the poultry meat had been either not properly cooked/tenderised or perhaps a tough old poultry was offered without tenderising in its preparing. Moreover, despite having the sauce, it had been lacking in flavour. Won't eat here again following this bad experience!

The correct choice to get rid of my long trip. Among Ipoh's delicacies, bean sprout poultry. Many celebrities have already been here, plus they are certainly complete weekends. Steamed chicken's epidermis was clean and the meats was tender. The poultry sauce with rice has been superb. Mix of sesame essential oil and green onion tastes was excellent. And a bowl of bean sprout is crucial.

This place is my in history favourite being an Ipoh-ian. It is a family run company that stood the check of time. The flavor and quality of poultry, soups, sprouts and noodles are usually consistent. Not forgetting the affordable cost as normal. Some might evaluate Ong's and Wong's which is much better, but if you require authenticity, my choice will be Ong. Though at occupied hours, be familiar with the cutest auntie's mindset =)
