This place appears the part - shabby chic furniture, retro European-style posters and a fancy Italian coffee maker in the corner - however the food is questionable. We'd breakfast here. I couldn't eat several bite - a 'croissant with tuna and bakedbeans' . The pastry was hard and dry, beans cool, and the tuna... nicely, it had been non-existant. I requested the waiter where in fact the tuna has been, he pointed at the watery whitened sauce drooling down the lettuce leaf and mentioned 'tuna there'. I drank my espresso (this was great) and left the meals, needing to buy breakfast elsewhere. TIP - in the event that you really want to market the 'continental, European design cafe' vibe, perform some analysis. Get some good staff who learn how to cook/serve this kind of food. Or even, just serve Malaysian.

The menus was fuss-free but food quality was tops. Choose anything off the menus and it will be delivered freshly produced and tasty. Although you can't "consume" the ambiance and decoration, these contribute to the entire dining experience. Cosy spot to have a romantic mealand private conversations.

We just went here since it was at the resort were residing in (French Resort, Ipoh) and following a long day time of traveling we didn't fancy looking for food in the strange city. Nonetheless it looked so great and fashionable it seemed a fantastic choice.This place is beautifully designed. The good thing stops there. I assume they spent all of the budget on style and forgot in regards to a great chef and quality wait around staff. The employees were difficult to find actually though the area was virtually empty. We ordered 3 meals. Caesar Salad. Steak Fries and Seafood & Chips. All simple foods. Caesar Salad is really a pretty regular dish, it includes a certain type of sharp lettuce and a Caesar dressing.This dam thing had limp lettuce, vinaigrette plus some warm meat in top. MY PARTNER hardly touched it. My Steak and Frites was horrible. A bit of meat as hard as shoe buckskin and smothered in BBQ sauce that I neither needed not questioned for, I don't also like BBQ sauce. Nobody inquired me how I needed the steak cooked (often a bad indication) but I informed them in any case (Med-Rare) what I acquired was more like done well. Our last dish was Seafood and Chips. Went there to get a western breakfast with my children at 8:30am, and the area was empty with just a waiter, that wasn't acquainted with the breakfast menu. The western breakfast was ok, above average but nothing fantastic. Cost was above average aswell. Placeseems decorated properly, and I'm certainly with an increase of diners will possess a nice ambience, nonetheless it was empty that morning and appeared really sad.

Another pleasant cafe within Ipoh with good ambience and a fascinating fit-out. I came right here limited to the breakfast, that was simply eggs on toast with dark coffee. Eggs were pretty average but I enjoyed the coffee.

Suprisingly having this type of good environment restaurant within French hotel. The meals served basically pretty good, which is 1st period visiting to here. Will come back. The only real improvement was hire staff who in a position to communicate and understand our vocabulary ans shorten thewaiting time for dishes serving.
