Read a examine from a blog declaring that their egg tarts has 48 folds rendering it flaky (sharp) upon bites. It lifestyles around the expectation. Will purchase more next time we visit Ipoh. The stall is situated in the Wend Seng restaurant(Kedai Kopi Weng Seng).

We reached the store at 11.15am, almost sold-out. RM 1.60 each, very affordable.....We had best egg tart inside Hong Kong,Hong Kee's is the greatest I have tasted inside M'sia till time. The pastry is indeed crispy n the egg is indeed nice njuicy albeit just a little sweet. Maybe enjoying it popular from the oven can make it nearly on par with the Hong Kong tarts. As you can find just too many meals to savour, we just ate the egg tarts in the home, however they were still excellent.....almost finished by 11am in a weekday.....we nearly missed the boat

It has been constantly my favourite.. from the eggs tart, coconut tart to shah qi ma, you won’t regret of attempting it! Be earlier since it always sold-out fast

The egg tarts are fresh and easily sold-out by mid morning. it taste very good.attempt their egg sponge cakes with egg jam ( referred to as kaya by the locals)

Eat the egg tarts while fresh and you will find a little bit of heaven on earth. Great crispy flaky crust with a generous quantity of egg filling.

This is well rated and you also have to come early (seriously I was there at 7:30 and there is ten in queue soon after me). They offered the sa ke Ma, egg tarts and egg rolls.

Located at a calm district. The gate had not been opened also thou the store is in operation. Fortunately we stop the automobile n approached the store. Was greeted by a vintage uncle who offered us with passion. Can easily see that he will be proud of hisproducts, that is undeniable flavor superb. Fm the printout on the amount of mentioned the store was detailed on papers n mags, can realize why the uncle is indeed proud of the merchandise. Lover the egg tarts where in fact the egg custard is indeed gentle and melted in the mouth area. N not really forgetting the bottom of the tart that is patiently created from many layers.

Hong Kee open up around 730am. Recommend ahead before 8am in order to avoid the crowd. Besides its egg tart another item really worth to try is usually its coconut tart.
