This can be a good place for visit to be able to taste some local Ipoh food, food here just wonderful. Most peoples function in these grocery can speak and realize Chinese and or Cantonese.

I am happy the meals stalls that We used to like remain there:1. Ipoh curry noodle - filled with curry taste and damn spicy. Like!2. Grilled "chicken" seafood (Filefish) - used to price RM5 in the 80s however now it's RM30!3. Strong fried mantis prawns and poached spiny shell Murex - really refreshing!4. HK design chee cheong enjoyable - dropped in high quality and flavor5. Ipoh Lam Mee - its soupy rather than starchy. Still great in my own opinion6. Squid & drinking water spinach with sambal kacang (peanut based sambar) - that one was a genuine disappointment. Tasted nothing beats it was previously due to the sauce.7. Ais kacang - didn't reach taste it because it isn't mine haha
