We ate within January and liked the food. That vacation we ate the Ar Or (braised duck with yam), the Assam seafood and beef rendang. All extremely enjoyable. This time we made a decision to order the chicken chops. My hubby ate the grilled poultry chopwith dark pepper sauce. An extremely safe choice and incredibly much to your expectation. We ordered the Hainanese poultry chop as there have been good reviews onto it. Actually, I have in no way eaten a Hainanese poultry chop and didn't know what to anticipate. It was a poultry chop dipped in batter and fried and drizzled with a in-home sauce. It had been nice but I came across the sauce abit bland. The potato wedges which was included with it were perfectly fried n fragrant. For dessert we'd the sago with gula Melaka. The restaurant is situated next to the historic Yeng Keng Boutique Resort on Chulia Road. The decoration is of the 1930s with posh, plush cosy banquette and normal desk seating. This restaurant acts authentic Hainanese-design cuisine. Throughout my travels in Malaysia & Singapore I haven’t beenable to get Char Hor Enjoyable of this high quality. A twist on the Hainanese poultry - flaky puff pastry externally enclosing steaming very hot mushroom and poultry within. Quite distinctive and ideal for Western palates. An excellent range of dishes provided and prices is reasonable.

Served delicious Hainan meals in the cozy and relaxing cafe. Don’t skip the following favourites : Picture 1. “Four Time of year” nicely presented Image 2. Big pie stuffing with chicken and veggie. Image 3. Baked cheese crab. We always just like the foods here and highlyrecommended to all or any food lovers.

Although it includes a small menu, the meals is of an extremely top quality Hainanese style and is freshly cooked. Hainanese Poultry chop was great. On specials there is 'beef rendang' and 'Mutton Rendang'. Both tasty. Their edition of a 'Spring Roll' rocks !! Servicewas excellent - meals served at same period - YES!!!!!!! Price - excellent worth. Locals use this location alot. Repeated usage of this restaurant it had been that good.

In case you are in Penang you cannot skip this place well-known for its authentic poultry pie homemade fluffy and crispy crust served with easy soft poultry and gravy sauce. It should be pre booked beforehand if don’t, they don’t sell it for you onthe spot. Blend with beautiful homemade lobak stuffing that's ever tasty and goodness. Poh Piah will be fluffy and their sauce is really a special sort of ingredient that brings about the flavouring and aroma in Poh Piah flavor when dip involved with it. Poultry chop will be crispy and tender with it gravy that blends pretty much. Overall rating is merely irresistible. 😄😄😄

Don't skip this cafe because you are distracted simply by the buzz of Lebuh Chulia. This cafe acts Hainanese and Nyonya fare. Once we simply landed in Penang, we had been craving for something nearby so we purchase Chap Chai (mixed veggie), Otak Otak (steamed aromaticfish cake) and a tasty fried chicken known as Inchi Kabin (Oh guy, I has been screaming with delight from the flavours (ok I had been just screaming inside my mind). The chap chai isn't the original chap chai because so many folks know it but similar to a variety of veggies. Appeared bland BUTT it had been delicious. I experienced like I was consuming home cooking. Once the Inchi Kabin arrived, it appeared black but MAN! don't allow appears deceive you. This is loaded with flavour. Then your otak otak arrived, I has been in heaven. The flavours reminded me of the otak, my past due grandma made. Flesh seafood chunk blended with a mild managed aroma of spices. Ah yo!!!! I'm so delighted. Oh ya, I really like my spices. I got two portions of sambal belachan. It had been spicy and an ideal condiment to my tasty meal. Service had been efficient. Not just a Chinese or Nyonya encounter around the corner but who cares? The meals was a lot more than good. haha. I am happy therefore happy to be back Penang.
