Along Macalister Street sits this brightly lit eating place advertising its Salted Poultry, which piqued my curiosity to use. Therefore i did, for supper with another friend. Car parking is almost non-existent throughout the day, and we were fortunate to find one during the night, as Macalister Street is among the busiest in Penang anytime.A simple eating area greets you, extremely unlike the nicely decorated front of the store. The dog owner greets you and you also recognise him because the one in the posters and banners showing him baking his poultry dish.A very important factor that I did so notice concerning the fellow diners within the shop - these were all talking Indonesian, which directed me to believe that place is favored by visitors from our neighbouring country. After that it struck me that establishment is also possessed by their countrymen because the sign on the walls states "Tutup hari Senin" this means shut on Mondays in Indonesian. The tiny menu doesn't offer many selections, but it's sufficient for meals. We ordered half of a poultry, fried roasted pork and the taufu. Judging from the costs on the laundry, our anticipation and anticipation were higher. What struck us once the meals arrived were the portions. These were very little and weren't befitting the price. As the chicken (RM36 for fifty percent bird) was nicely smoked and has been flavourful, it lacked the strength of the chinese natural herbs which is normally within this dish. The fried roast pork (RM28) was aromatic but as well sweet, as the claypot taufu furthermore lacked flavour.Overall, RM81 for 3 dishes between two individuals, who left the area with unsatisfied tummies, had been a touch too expensive and didn't decrease well.
