We wandered in to the Boat Food Courtroom on our 'quest' to see all of the Penang Street Artwork. There are many art pieces close by but one is situated in a area off the primary food region, and missed by many on the art lookup. The chilledwatermelon juices had been so welcome through the warm, humid time. On our second cease we had a unforgettable rice and shrimp entree split as a snack. Excellent exemplory case of a straightforward local dish done ideal at a good cost. The shaded dining region offers a rest from the tropical midday sunlight. Nothing fancy right here - interesting drinks, good foods, friendly people, hidden road art at an acceptable price (2 beverages + rice dish maybe 12RM easily recall correctly). Essential cease if on the road Art Tour - you will want to get a bite or great fruit juice...

we visited these days at lunch time. purchased chilli prawns, pork rice and greens. all great in addition to the prawns which were awful, rubbery and tasteless. we called the supervisor over who simply shrugged her shoulders and wandered off. ordered drinks through the consume stall afterthey lastly arrived we covered the drinks but required change. he never returned with the change we'd to go and discover him by the end of the dinner. we negociated a lower price on the food due to the substandard produce. we have had quite a few truely wonderful food encounters throughout malaysia. mostly street meals. this was definately not really one of these. substandard food bad assistance. avoid you can find so a great many other fab places.
