Sin Chew restaurant homes this bustling yam rice and accompanying meals and soups. Ironically, the spartan character of the laundry reminded me a lot more of Hakka cuisine than Hokkien. With all of the daily soups accessible spoke of Cantonese cooking influence. But unmistakably meals like darkish soy sauce stewed pork (RM3) and fried lor bak had been quintessentially Hokkien in character. The meal had been a delight with a fragrant lightly spiced rice with bite sized gentle taro and a center warming robust pork bone sweetened broth of peppercorns, dried cuttlefish and whitened carrot. Look like operated by additional person already. Taste not really same as last period, the egg soup offered not really hot and tasteless. Completely overpriced... too poor another kochabi is fully gone...
