The best dining experience inside Penang was at See Kong Ooi inside the center of George Town in Jalan Transfer. This is a restaurant that is running a business since 1936 and once and for all reason. They provide up delicious Chinese meals with a Malaysian twist. The restaurant is really a hole in the walls establishment and the dining area is casual aswell. Like several eateries in Penang, the doorways are left available to let atmosphere in. They will have a menus on the walls which includes English on it together with the cost and the server that got my purchase spoke English well. Therefore you don't need to fret about language problems. Ordered three products, steamed pork with salted seafood, fried kang kung and assam prawns. The steamed pork is really a homestyle dish that my mother liked to create occasionally when I was raised, so this cut back memories for me personally. The fried kang kung is usually drinking water spinach protected in sambal. I recommend this dish since it will be flavorful and memorable. That is not the same as the Cantonese preparing of drinking water spinach so it's worth a try because of this. The assam prawns are great aswell. The sauce in this dish reminds me of lovely and sour sauce. good Chinese dinner in Penang, Notice Kong Ooi is really a spot I would suggest. Though remember that the emphasis here's totally on the meals instead of the decor.

Nice Service and foods delicious
