The Red Backyard is on Leith Road near the top of Chulia Street. It includes a multitude of various kitchens producing meals from a variety of countries - precisely what you would anticipate in cosmopolitan Georgetown.Every table includes a number. Simply wander past the different kitchensuntil you see a thing that you fancy, purchase it and it'll be taken to your desk. A waiter will go to you to have a drinks purchase. All drinks have become fairly priced. Overall great affordability. It opens at 1700 so no lunch.

Visited several times during our remain - always simply for snacks - either afternoon or past due evening. Excellent food throughout. Tried many places.

Between Upper Penang Street and Leith Road, just close to the Glowing blue Mansion, may be the 'Red Garden Meals Paradise', a place filled with hawker stalls like the 'Jetty Food Courtroom', where I been consuming more often, but just out of coincidence. Theplace here appearance pleasant too, great to taste local foods and more for an extremely reasonable price. The meals one has purchased at the stall will get served at the desk, which one has chosen. While at the 'Jetty Food Courtroom' almost everywhere Carlsberg beer will be advertised, here it really is Tiger beer. Red concerning the 'Red Backyard' are mainly the reddish plastic chairs (around circular whitened tables) and the reddish colored lanterns. In the guts is a phase for performances by musicians, singers, dancers, acrobats - something cannot be within the 'Jetty Food Courtroom'. For a night time bite cum dessert you can get one of these 'Ban Jiang Kuih', a sugary pancake filled up with crushed peanuts, which gets advertised as 'Traditional Penang Snack'. The 'Red Backyard' evidently was opened in 2007.

This food court has many stalls which should satisfy even probably the most demanding. This is a clean meals court which has a small amusement stage. Based on if you are there, singers, along with other entertainers put in a little bit of fun if you are munching yourfood. Numerous go there especially during the night to beverage the night aside washing down the tasty foods with Tiger Beer or Carlsberg. I would recommend fresh fish filled with curry paste, covered in banana results in and bbq over charcoal. The largest choice of food reaches night. Only money is accepted on the list of food hawkers. There exists a paid car recreation area close to it. Enter via Penang Street. I was there prior to the COVID lockdown. Many dishes remain RM$8.

So much food option, the later you move the better it really is (10pm is great) Traditional Curry Kitchen area was undoubtedly our favourite spot to eat. We obtained the salty crispy poultry, they additional sauce if asked also it had been the tastiest food we hadeaten yet inside our 14 days in Malaysia. The personnel were so incredibly pleasant and helpful and we'd definitely suggest to anyone and everyone. Live life music the Saturday night time.

All the hype in relation to Penang street foods is BS. Red Backyard is a low course, grotty food court. Foods is completely nothing special. Place is usually filthy and unhygenic. Really rubbish.
