almost all salt I had eaten within a year with this particular meal. the fried pores and skin of tofu will be starchy as connected. the fried cabbages are usually mainly charcoal ready. The soft towel smell of unclean sweat and i had to visit toilet to clean my faceafter accidentay wiping, that i will never expect from the proper japanese restaurent or in a highest Penang class shopping mall.

My mother and We ate many times in this clear and hospitable eatery inside April 2018. There have been several private areas for guests , therefore, this restaurant was furthermore ideal for business lunch or private gatherings. Furthermore, there were windows sitting areas which faced towardsthe ' Persiaran Gurney '. You can visit a glimpse of the north channel of the Penang Strait. We ordered ' Tempura Moriawase ' that was nice and palatable. The staff was polite , efficient and hospitable. My mom thought that the decor of the restaurant was nicely collection. Overall, lunches and sights went together.

11.30am. First clients. Poultry katsuju, salmon shioyaki, saba shioyaki and California temaki had been all poorly executed. Actually the green tea extract was tasteless. I’m uncertain if they weren't prepared to cook at 11.30am - their opening period or standards possess just dropped. We visitPenang for several weeks at the same time each year which restaurant is usually a popular but I think any longer. Very sad.

I came by yourself and ordered a sashimi dish, a fried soft shell crab. chawan mushi and rice and sake. The supervisor who served me cannot offer any suggestions about the sakes. Simply they could be served very hot or chilly????? The sashimi has been badlycut for the reason that each item had membrane inside it. The softshell crab had been definitely off and I did so not finish it. As well bad since it was an excellent size and perfectly fried. The rice and chawan mushi were alright. I have more assistance with the decision of sake from Edoichi. I'd not go back.

We recently discovered Rakuzen inside Penang at the Paragon Mall. We later discovered that this is among the popular Japanese dining places with the locals. Menu - extensive collection of the al cartel and also set offerings. We adored the unique cawanmushi withsalmon eggs and would recommend this to anyone who just can't withstand savoury egg custards. Overall, value for the money, nice and fresh components and great presentation. Dining experience - not excellent. The waiting personnel were haphazard which is one cafe where everyone will get their orders randomly. Perhaps just a little disappointing has been that staff weren't prepared to learn exactly what had occurred to delayed orders and comes home with delivery timeframes which are unrealistic. Price - not just a cheap choice by Malaysian standards. Lunch time for four with appetisers, mains and beverages had been about 300MYR. However, changed into NZD this is about $100 that was definitely not pricey.

Ordered 3 sets, 2 sets came and 3rd just made an appearance nearly 25 minutes later on. When questioned why, the employees said cooked by various departments. Completely unacceptable. It really is ridiculous that another 2 individuals has finished their food while I'm still looking forward to mine

Therefore many places are closed during CNY. Searching for a location to eat, my children came right here on CNY day 2. We ordered a number of dishes to talk about. We began with Yee Sang (essential olive oil ran out). Accompanied by saba shioyaki, gindara (codfish) teriyaki, gentle shell crab, poultry kariage, garlic fried rice, “dragon roll”, and poultry katsu curry rice. We loved the Yee Sang - salmon sashimi was fresh and fresh substances. Another dishes were good aside from the slow assistance. It is understandable because it is CNY time 2 and a large crowd came. Issue is Rakuzen Pg has always received poor reviews on slow meals service. Not only on yuletide season. But whole yr long. This is maybe something the Mgmt must address very soon. The restaurant managers did help us to chase down our food orders. Therefore the bottleneck probably is based on the kitchen.

Sitting here at as soon as and my partner is consuming her valentines food. I finished mine 25 minutes ago. They gave a similar excuses as other reviews, oh its different section, sorry they didn't know etc etc. They additional they'll try to dobetter that is overall BS as its only a way to make an effort to help you to shut up. penang is filled with quality food, this is not among those options. Avoid. The photo is of my empty, regardless of the saltiness, plate and my wife's full one.

Located at the very top floor within Paragon Mall, this cafe supplies a nice view when you can secure the cubicle by the home window. If not, there are several other cozy spots open to pick from in this large eating place. Their menu supplies a large selectionof standard Japanese food with attractive photos of the laundry offered, for all those uninitiated or not really acquainted with Japanese food. We tried their tempura collection lunch that was quite alright, whereas my partner ordered the tonkatsu ...breaded chicken in rice. This location is really a pork-free restaurant. Our side order include a BBQ squid. That ended up being the almost all disappointing. The actual dimension of the squid offered was a lot smaller sized than that portrayed in the menus photo. Furthermore, the squid has been over-BBQued and therefore turned our very dried out and chewy instead of moist, succulent and delicious. Kudos though to the cafe supervisor (from Myanmar) and the chef (whom we summoned,to complain). Apologies were offered, and an upgraded BBQed squid was offered as something recovery attempt. Sadly, the next squid was no bigger nor better. Alas, we were told that the meals was prepared by a good apprentice, and that the squids available had been a big since it gets... not really the huge voluptuous looking squid we'd anticipated, nor as portrayed in the menu photograph. All told, it had been still a nice experience eating from Rakuzen even though food high quality and preparation could be further improved.

Very dissatisfied with this restaurant. The purchase price is bit greater than next door that people thought it must be good flavor and good services. The waiter will take our order of meals but didn't require any drinks. We await our foods almost 30mins. Whenit serve, frosty noodle not cold without ice at all in the bottom. My seafood fried rice will be tasteless. We saw numerous table serve with hands towers however, not at our desk until we completed our dishes. Won't enter this restaurant once again...
