Totally love Penang Char koay teow... it really is awesome... The flavor is great, and even though the portions certainly are a tad little, but I don't brain. Taking into consideration the many other foods it is possible to eat in Penang.

Came here to really have the char kuey teow) CKT) which was previously so famous you need to queue. Got right here and was amazed there is no queue. We believed it had been because we were earlier also it was a weekday. Boy were wedisappointed with the CKT. In addition they used to truly have a great ice kacang making use of their signature peanut ice lotion. Another epic fall short. I guess the administration has transformed and the initial operators have sold-out. The lobak was the only real redeeming dish here. Won't be back.

It's been 2-3 yrs since my last period back Penang and unfailingly, I re-visited this reknown spot to possess my Char Koay Teow. Exactly the same woman with the acquainted cap over her mind does her thing on the wok. All I cansay the miracle remains in her finished "item".....it was as effective as ever.......We ordered my minute plate after devouring the initial one. My tastebuds explained the Char Koay Teow continues to be the same however the huge "BUT" noticed me digging deeper in to the pocket to spend RM9 for every plate! Quality maintained......Volume shrunk ! Costs certainly have got soared. Would I keep coming back again? Certainly! It really is still the very best Char Koay Teow in Penang.

Too expensive rather than that fantastic. It exactly like regular char koay teow, Ipoh char koay teow flavor far better. Overblown expectation

Yummy Char Koay Teow but need to wait at the very least 45 minute. Nevertheless, you can order various other dish such as for example Asam laksa , fried oyster and lobak while waiting around .

This nearby delicacy is available everywhere...along the road stalls, local coffeeshops. Prices range between MYR$5 to MYR$6.90. Crispy rather than too oily..spicy too!!! Price is reasonable. However I favor mine with quite a few dark sauce and plenty of fresh cocklres....

It is a fried kway teow stall on Lorong Selamat. The girl has been selling right here for many years. The queues are generally long with patient clients looking forward to half an hr or more for the order. Price is quite high when compared to averagecharge per plate on the island. The flavor is good nevertheless, you can also obtain the same quality from some other stalls. Not worthy of the wait around and hype.

My wife think it’s great, she told me it had been better than the main one we queue inside Gurney. Portion is little and not the least expensive kuay teow around, but also for sure it tasty
