After reading reviews here, & seeing Norm promoted in countless coffee/website blogs, we stopped by for lunch once we were in your community. Liked the present day concept, but smaller sized than anticipated inside. It was awesome with the a/c & marble-topped tables & seats. This is1st review since before lockdown, so maybe it's just a bar- bones menu, but we weren't impressed. Mains: just spaghetti based (& we do scruitinise the fold up menus cards). Desserts: waffles with toppings, tiramisu & basque burnt cheesecake. Limited coffee etc menus. We don't take filtration system coffee & were very happy to find they are able to do cappuccino (regular mug not on menu, only a 1/2 glass). Nicely presented, but little for the purchase price RM11 per mug. Ordered spaghetti carbonara. The bacon offered was pork belly, & had been more stomach fat than lean meats. It was delicious. Am utilized to a creamy whitened carbonara sauce, but this is pale yellowish transulucent. It had been OK. For RM25, got even more pasta than meat. Perfectly presented. Summary: given average ranking as it wasn't excellent (more of an excellent, but TA does not have that rating obtainable). Nice to learn Norm will there be, but won't walk out my way to drop by again.

Incredibly hidden hideout, impossible to get without direct transport. The place is exclusive as it serves numerous kinds of l loose leaf teas, scorching chocolate options and coffee. Nevertheless what impressed me probably the most had been it’s cocktail bar. We actually requested goods that were offmenu plus they were more than pleased to comply. Lastly has been their waffles (which all of the tables ordered) and their tiramisu (which contains alcoholic beverages) Price has been reasonable. Will certainly be back.

Slightly away the beaten track, this cosy cafe isn't too difficult to find, by using a map. For motorists, there is absolutely no shortage of parking area. Whitewashed wall space greet patrons, providing the cafe a clear look. Potted vegetation are strategically positioned aroundthe cafe. For a weekend night, I was amazed there were a lot of tables to pick from. But when i stayed beyond 7.45pm, I noticed patrons beginning to steadily stream in. The fare is western, so being truly a pasta lover, I find the Aglio Olio, with a latte as my beverage of preference. Usually spicy, I love that versatility is practised here when i favored my dish sans chili. Given the part dimension of the pasta dish, my meal was really worth the purchase price paid. I want I had additional time, just therefore i could attempt their Tiramisu. There obviously should be a cause why an image of it is positioned at the counter. Service is prompt, because the team members are usually efficient, polite and alert.

The address on Get cannot locate 260c .. and u could find “fountain cafe” instead. The tiramisu was the signature and it’s excellent. Too bad cos whenever we arrive there isn’t any matcha tiramisu (1jan & 4jan2020). Yup, we visited two times. We tried differentpasta and the very best are shown here (in photos) Price: normally we ate RM$150-180 per food with beverages, pasta + desserts.

Visited this cafe today. I order hot black espresso from Colombia and pasta carbonara. For me personally the coffee 5/5 and for the meals is 3/5 the staffs are friendly. Good product and great customer service

Ordered both iced latte and speciality drinks - mocha with cinnamon and dried orange 🍊 - AMAZING matcha latte however is a little bit disappointing- too lovely and matcha flavor could be stronger

After the critiques and photos we were excited for an excellent brunch at norm. The establishing is gorgeous and contains been designed well. Both of us purchased poached and eggs and avocados with tomatoes and spinach. Everything has been ice frosty. I don’t usually complain but icecold egg is usually unedible. We delivered the food back again and asked for sizzling eggs and the brand new eggs returned mildly warmer but nonetheless cold. They need to pre poach the eggs and comfortable them slightly when helping which doesn’t work. Eggs have to be served popular. We ate some and still left. It’s awkward to keep to deliver things back and we'd already paid. Espresso was excellent however. It’s this type of shame as there's lots of potential.

We was introduced this store by my lovely spouse & friends. That one of unique cafe design. My personal perspective the dining layout it is a bit messy rather than useful for a cafe. Although if you need to look unique you will need maximizethe dining areas. I have to be honest, menu choice is great!! Food items is superb although you have got limited choice. They focus on coffees, the best is Cortado coffee, in addition to that they have other collection of coffee as well. I actually had poached eggs bedded with sour dough breads and plenty of wild mushroom. I have to say the BOOM significantly, I love it. They practice to purchase and sit back, meal will undoubtedly be served for you later. My selection of dessert is usually their Tiramisu, you need to try. Ready by the chef. My only comment may be the team members have to be more friendly never to robotics. A little touch create a huge impact once you learn how adjust it. They're nice young generation want some training to raise the service standard. Done well Norm management 👍💪 congrats!! General experience im loving it Norm cafe. Highly recommended and certainly this spot to my clients and friends.

Yes, this location is gonna maintain my “must visit” location from right here on. Cafe will be hidden from main road. It really is petite in proportions but clean, contemporary and modern. It feels super comfy hanging out there. Unique shoutout to the unique drinks especiallythe nocktails.

Loved this concealed café near the aged fire station within George Town. The meals was wonderful, the environment is so cool.
