Great experience at Baba Jay. His whole loved ones is taken to the night time. Achar puteh - peppermint for ang mohAchar hijau - eco-friendly, ulam rajah for malayAchar siam - thai, thai basilAchar awak - nonyaDegustation.My fav dish was the lor bak and poultry kapitam.He was type enough to provide us a tour. Sadly as our transportation was waiting around, we couldnt consider the offer.

Lovely dining experience studying nyonya culture and meals from Baba Jay. My preferred part was the small food preparation lesson in the center of dinner to understand to prepare Nasi Ulam, a dropped Nyonya dish! Jay had been very entertaining and educated and clearly his interest for herbal treatments, spices and background came through for an extremely memorable evening. Certainly a recommend for a slower evening in Penang.
