Excellent place.. Overall very good quality when compared with Le Petit as well as Moulmein Rise's Bakery Store. The aroma of the coffees are also excellent, as per se. Except for the automobile recreation area, everything else is ideal. THE GIRL Staffs or HELPERso known as, should be more pleasant and hav an improved PR. Remember, the flavor of meals isn't EVERYTHING. Other aspects are just as important as well.

Came here after viewing some beautiful photos on the Instagram account. There's almost no decent French pastry stores in Penang, therefore i thought I'd give this a chance. Tried their vanilla beignet, chocolate protected madeleine, tarte au citron and suffering au chocolat. Wasthoroughly dissatisfied by every one of them. Sure, the pastries appeared as if something you see inside upmarket French patisserie home windows. Very impressive. Flawless. You might think they might taste as effective as they appearance, until one requires a bite. That's when huge disappointment units in. I was looking for the flavour bite after bite. It had been not there. Where has been the French butter fragrance? Where had been the cocoa aroma? Where has been the vanillla, the lemon??! Why did every one of them taste so smooth and bland? Some actually tasted stale, electronic.g. the madeleines, beignets. The only positive thing I could say was the flakiness of the pain au chocolat, after becoming reheated. That's just the consistency. It still didn't possess the buttery fragrance an excellent pastry should have. If you are searching for beautiful, Instagram worthy pastries it doesn't matter how awful they flavor like, this is actually the location for you. If you are searching for pastries that truly taste good, look additional. Actually the fourleaves bakery at GAMA supermarket offers much better, new, daily-made doughnuts (or 'sugars ring' as they contact it) at a fraction of the purchase price here. For me, the standard of the pastries right here usually do not justify their obscene, 5-star-hotel-level prices.

After lunch, dropped by LVeR to take pleasure from coffee and cakes. All three folks had cafe latte. Espresso was OK. The standout was the pastries or patisserie. Ambience was so thus only. White-washed walls, basic tables and chairs.

Warm welcome by the Friendly staff members makes me feel just like house. Both Almond croissant and Dirty Latte amazed my tastebuds!

The croissants and bakeries appear delicious and professionally produced - the croissants were perfectly shaped and my interest was piqued. I purchased a chocolate croissant even though it look best, it was a little hard and there is not good enough chocolate fillings which managed to get disappointing.Coffee was great, would have ordered a lot more pastries if the costs were a lot more affordable. If you are searching for instagram worthy pics, you will be disappointed - very little hard work put in to create this an instagram worthy cafe.

Excellent impression, cute little pinky shop in ways simple. Pastries and specially the beignets aswell the madeleines had been yummy rather than that fatty or as well sweet when i was a little afraid (personal taste). Prices are reasonable, expensive but definitely cheaperthan inside France for sure... Only small lower point was the service which seems confused rather than organised, 3 employees at that time we went right now there rather than super pro active simply because maybe it must be... Maybe thinking about even more training or the dog owner to consider about any of it? I’m an hotelier so that it might result from my professional history however in any case it had been a big negative effect on us. Seems furthermore they don't accept credit score cards at that time we visited. Predicated on these facts, I would recommend it.

Visited have breakfast, but most products are sweet selection. Only 1 that's savoury - ham and cheese croissant was great. We purchased 5 beignets to proceed and was disappointed it had been packed in a dark brown paper bag rather than the nice boxes that they had.When asked why didn't devote the box, the employees said - it price RM2 extra! Interesting our total costs was over RM100 plus they want to cost us for a charge for the container.... OVER-RATED and won't move there again.
