A restaurant located in the UNESCO web site. You will need to purchase an entrance charge to enter the website before addressing the restaurant. Worry not really. The entrance charge will be offset whenever your expenses at the cafe is above a quantity. Weordered Chilli Crab Mantou, Hokkien and Creme Brulee. The Hokkien is someone to die for. It reminded us of the lobster soup we'd in Iceland. It's wealthy and flavourful. For dessert, we'd creme brulee. We had been surprised that it emerged in 3 little bowls - pandan, glutinous rice and gula melaka. We favored the pandan and gula melaka.

Me and my partner had our last supper in Penang, noticed the nice reviews here and went. Sadly we were dissatisfied. The starters were great and just a little spicy, the seafood -stake just a little odd though. Our primary courses were little and bland, the chili crab buns experienced zero chili (or any flavour whatsoever) and inside had been one lettuce, one heavy fried shrimp plus some mayonnaise, privately several curly fries. Furthermore we sensed like we weren't welcomed as there have been 3 tables with large family members and the waiters required pictures of these etc and not one bothered to even reveal about the menu. Once we finally asked for the examine the waiter looked carefully next to me when i counted my money. Nobody thanked or stated goodbyes once we left. We experienced treated as undesirable customers but without cause we could think about. Not worth your cash, there are numerous excellent restaurants within Georgetown to visit instead.

We popped into this cafe following a circular of the tourist attraction. Its cool inside was a stark comparison to heat outside. SINCE I HAVE was there simply for a glass or two, I browsed through the menus, only concentrating on the drinks. I did notice a lot of thought was devote the way the meals were created and offered, considering the description of every dish and its own accompanying photo. The concept was fusion, and when not for the actual fact I was not really around eating then, I'd have ventured to use a few dishes. My beverage was an ice-blended Cendol consume. It was filled with flavour, and I experienced I was literally consuming the dessert Penang will be well-known for. The coconut milk presented the very best in the beverage and I adored it. Just what a thirst quencher! The service was prompt and the wait staff, warm and friendly. Done well!

This place blew our minds - in an exceedingly positive sense. The meals is incredibly sensitive and delicious and served having an aesthetic touch enjoy it was the best possible gourmet - all at or substandard prices for this sort of restaurant. We payed 150RM for appetizers, two major programs and two deserts + cocktails! The area is small and isolated making you feel you have left the town. The staff is quite polite and pleasant, with personal suggestions and a good understanding of the meals they serve. We had been offered by Vince and Ronald, that was a pleasure! Recommend it and we plan to come back!
