The cafe served the very best Hainanese chicken chop we had ever tasted. The extra fat had possibly been trimmed off prior to the meats had been dipped in batter and serious fried; and the effect was a non-greasy and tasty little bit of meats soaked ina tasty onion-flavoured brown sauce. We noticed many clients ordered the poultry chop without considering the menu. Another highlight was the heavy fried spring roll. Khoon began as a bakery offering cakes and pies, and contains since diversified into helping meals as well.

Came on public vacation for authentic Hainanese lunch time. The restaurant was therefore crowed with patrons. Ordered carbonara, chicken chop and mutton shepherd pie. The ingredients found in carbonara were canned pea, big prawns and poultry meat. Unique mixture. Big portion. Ideal for big eater. Chickenchop has been the tastiest main training course among the meals we ordered. The gravy has been delicious, chicken was crispy however tender. The mashed on Shepherd Pie was too thick. Not impressing. Selection of pastries were available too.

This quiet little place got a facelift. Tastefully decorated, similar to the days of the past gone. The familiar encounter of the shopkeeper and his spouse is really a welcome sight certainly. The meals has evolved because of changing times and consumer requirements. Still, it really is asgood as actually. The poultry chip and black regional coffee remains so when tasty. The program unobtrusive. Just relax and enjoy the meals, and some classic songs. A nice lunch, it is.

It is a rare find recommended by colleague of the wife who's a local. To begin with, the restaurant is little and instead obscure on a little street. It serves genuine Hainanese food. For individuals who are not conscious, the Hainanese is among theethnic sets of the Chinese and through the colonial period, most of them offered as cooks or servants to the British. Therefore, they developed their very own fusion design of Chines-western foods with probably the most well-known being Poultry chop. Their Hainanese poultry chop and Fried noodles are usually amongst the best I've eaten. A amazingly find had been their Yuan Yang (A Hong Kong design coffee and tea combine); it is extremely aromatic and flavourful. Their mushroom soup was furthermore very good. This appears to largely a family group run restaurant therefore don't expect the type of assistance u find at best tier and much more expensive restaurants. It requires a while for the meals to be offered and can get quickly crowded/stuffed during peak hrs. (I went during supper). So program your time accordingly.

I was having dinner nearby in Arte. But I jumped in and inquired for takeaway poultry pie and poultry curry puff. The chicken pie appeared very dark - a little burned externally no longer juicy inside. The curry puffwas very good.

We ordered its signature dish, poultry chop and shepherd's pie.Chicken chop was great using its special creamy home sauce.Zero tomato or chilly sauce provided. The beef pie which we ordered had not been as expected. There are pastries within glass shelves plus they looked good. Parking isnot an issue in the event that you pay RM5 in order to park in private carpark.Pick the one further later on on a single side as cafe. Service was ok however, not needlessly to say of a food wall plug.Owners are a vintage couple living on recent glories!
