Excellent location and the freshest foods inside Georgetown! I’ve been going to Penang for several years and nothing at all beats the char koay teow right here. Greeted with a hot welcome from proprietor Anne and still left with a complete stomach. What more may i ask for!

We asked mee goreng (that's so typical in Malaysia) and We was served something among char kway teow and mee goreng however, not genuine mee goreng, not really tasting so very bad nor great but,,…The roasted pork (10rm) had an excellent taste but served cool,it was thefefore typical. Keat la or calamansi fruit juice with plum (2,6rm) was offered in a large glass with a touch too very much ice but great. I paid something similar to 18,5 rm. It had been costly for what it had been I discovered that invest 2019 but We wouldn’t go back Atmosphere is authentic, basic Chinese place with fans, plastic tables and chair, busy I saw nothing exclusive concerning cleanliness The prices weren't clear because the meals mentioned in Chinese and. I had not been that full These were not unfriendly, seeming to be thinking about your person but I asked mee goreng and I was told they have and lastly they don’t have after, on the other hand they will have and again they don’t have they have, I was finally served something between mee goreng with a char kway teow taste,…Well,… Also I suggest to them with my finger the juice I'd like on the menu plus they say “ah ok, you need Ambra juice” while I put my finger on Keat la juice. Then, they state “you should select that dish”, I replied “no, I'd like mee goreng,…” Probably I made a blunder not to request mamak mee??? Conversation was bad and strange

Each time we have been in Penang, we shall head to Ho Ping Coffeeshop for the char kway teow fried with a duck’s egg. RM7.50 a plate. Fragrant, little serving with 2 refreshing prawns. Standard always great. Never failed us! For drinks, we just like the Ambrajuice - do not really know very well what fruit it really is, probably some type of local prune. It is possible to it detailed on the wall.

Like CKT is my preferred dish we made a bee range for Ho Ping from the local recommendation. We had been rewarded with outstanding Char Kway Teow and a fascinating conversation with the well travelled lady proprietor who had spent enough time in Shepherds Bushwith family members. Small planet eh? It's simply an open restaurant but even more lovely once the owners so wonderful...and the meals so good!

Central location inside Georgetown with a good chilled atmosphere to take pleasure from the countless dishes you travel around the world to eat with a lot of options to consume and beverage. Busy around lunchtime for reasonable into the afternoon rather than very crowded forbreakfast.

Had a hard time seeking the place utilizing the address inside the Penang Foods Map. Google map didn’t assist. But are available easily at the part of Malabar and Jalan Penang. Happy I persisted. CKT had been delicious with generous portions. Extremely inexpensive!
