The place is quite cozy, the server is quite friendly and good smiling, whenever we cant decide what things to eat,the server answered and recommended because of our preferences. I really like the fettuccine is al dente and chewy, risotto is flavorful and the part is just nice🤗

We were biking and stumbled with this restaurant completely unintentionally, and we’re happy we did. The pasta had been flawlessly al dente and the provider was prompt. The only real curious thing is they chilled their burgandy or merlot wine.

Bad service. Not well worth to possess this service regardless of how great you cook. If program isn't important, then suggest never to do food business.

We love the meals so very much, that it’s so sincere, unpretentious, and passionate simultaneously. They change their menus weekly bottom on the available substances. Price point is ideal for such quality foods. We'd worst at HeapSeng (close by crappy eating place) that alousy bowl of pasta will probably be worth RM58 for such poor food. For a bowl of RM38 pasta that prepared with such excellent passion and quality components, it’s worth trying.

Small place with excellent character. Superb pasta, paella, and desserts. Great wines by the cup. Sat outside on the list of greenery on little terrace. Service was great, but a little short-handed - 1 server for several tables.

As a frequent traveller, I've had the very best pasta in Jaloux. It is possible to taste the artwork and craft behind every bowl of food served. Various menu each time I visit. Personally i think like I'm in European countries when I'm in Jaloux. Amazing food and excellent quality. It has been my favourite place with my family for a long time. Totally recommend!

Amidst the web commentary of “rude poor” service and “over-priced” food, I was actually (delightfully) astonished when a woman dressed in an extended loose shift and hair in a neat bun greets myself with “smiling” eye at the front end door (I suspect she wasthe chef’s wife). I had arrived solo with out a reservation and predicated on its popularity was ready to be curtly switched away. Rather she graciously ushers me in to the dark cool interiors and sits me using one of the 7 tables within the tiny dining hall. She promptly directs my focus on two chalkboards (food & beverages) on the walls where the menus of the 7 days was handwritten. You can find three options each on the appetiser, main & dessert checklist. I pick out one from each. Portions are ideal sized. Service is definitely prompt. And the atmosphere leans toward boho fashionable. The carciofi is fairly pleasurable and appetising. I’m pleased it does not appear and taste enjoy it was from the jar. It will be quite impressive if it had been. The house-produced cocoa flavoured pasta will be flawlessly al dente. Conceptually produced sense when offered with a robust ragu of chicken liver. Expectedly wealthy, it unfortunately tastes somewhat gamey - only a personal non-choice. Dessert was completely pleasing. So I have been well-prepared because of this lunch expertise to fail spectacularly. Nonetheless it does not. Although it isn't perfect it scores perfectly in the beginning and closing. Certainly plenty of interest, competency and meticulousness proceeded to go into each dish. And for a kitchen that's operate by the chef himself without visible assistance, he earns my complete respect (regardless of how cocky he could be reputed to be)! For that I'll return back and try another dishes. Lunch anyone?

Not really your usual Italian cafe. First of just about all, it had been very difficult to locate a parking inside Penang especially inside Georgetown area - sorry We had to vent my frustration - also it was worse during lunch time hours. My tummy has been growling after going to Komtarbut my brain had already composed to consume at Jaloux. If you value pasta, do cause you to solution to this popular invest the town centre. I was in fact happy that I came. All the meals that we experienced - Pappardelle Ragu & Fettuccine Marinara - became revelation. The chef definitely knows his pasta properly and made every single dish in information and in severe manners. Both pastas had been cooked al-dente, filled with flavours however, not too overpowering on factors. Our happy ending has been their Panna Cotta which contained tea, vanilla and caramel... Nearly went for double delighted ending that was their Creme Brulee however the tummy couldn't easily fit into anything anymore. If you didn't give consideration, you might skip this old fashioned store house that houses this type of delightful restaurant that has been adorned with wooden furnitures plus simple interiors. Menus was composed on the blackboard and the laundry change constantly. Somewhat pricey, service could be a tad gradual but that is two-men show location so be patient.

A beautifully rustic cafe with an excellent setting. It is a quaint eating place operated by only 2 people, which means you have to become knowing that the server must help in your kitchen as well. In the event that you relax in to the evening, enjoy the business you arewith, the songs and wine, after that this is actually the ambience for you! The meals was delicious and we'd thoroughly recommend.
