Went here in line with the reviews we found on website. Unfortunately it didn't live it around the hype at all. I understand we’re in Penang therefore not expecting the very best authentic Mexican foods ever nonetheless it was probably the even worse ‘Tex Mex’ stylefood we’ve ever endured. We purchased tacos, figaros and papas fritas. The tacos had been average, meat wasn’t the very best quality and poultry was chewy and chilly. Beef steak tacos had been like leather to consume. Papas fritas was simply French fries that was pricey at 16MYR since it supposedly was included with Tajin salt. These were tasteless, almost no salt or flavouring. There is no Mexican flavouring at all throughout the dishes - it had been bland. Figaros we’re strong fried and all I possibly could flavor was the greasy essential oil as chicken had been again, bland without Mexican seasoning taste. Decoration is great inside and the personnel were absolutely great and live songs was nice, simply the meals was disappointing. We still left and ate someplace else in the end.

In the meals capital of Southeast Asia, we weren't expecting to discover ourselves in a Mexican cafe, but we have been glad that we discovered Holy Guacomole! Fantastic Mojitos, wonderful employees and DELICIOUS Mexican meals! As fans of Mexican foods, we came right here onour anniversary and actually enjoyed ourselves. Very genuine meals and vibes with live life music every evening which only increases the fiesta environment. Recommend to a person with a like of Mexican food! Many thanks Holy Guacamole!

Inspired by viewing Mexican recipes upon the Asian Meals Network our elderly mother craved several Mexican food, so all of us visited HOLY GUACAMOLE at Like Lane yesterday evening (30 June, 2022)😋🎉🔥All of us thoroughly enjoyed the Enchiladas (Mum got Beef, I had Poultry), lovely Guacamole & Tortillachips😍plus yummy Churros❤️👌 Overall we'd an extremely satisfying dinner experience within lovely pleasant Mexicana environment with fantastic service through very polite, attentive plus efficient staff👍🙏👍I'd recommend Holy Guacamole at Appreciate Lane!👌😍💖

From the neutral's perspective, if you are a fan of Mexican food (e.g. tacos, burritos, fajitas, etc.), this is a good place so that you can check out. They will have several authentic Mexican dishes open to pick from their menu. Nevertheless, in termsof its prices versus the product quality or portions, I cannot truthfully say that the laundry justify the costs charged. Ambience-wise, the eating place does offer a good set up for a "feel-good" dinner... with colorful backdrops in conjunction with some good Caribbean music to truly get you "in the mood". Nevertheless, because of space constraints, the area may be slightly as well noisy for a chit-chat session. In addition, for individuals who require a larger room for lunch/supper gatherings, more seats can be found on the upper floor aswell.

Decent Mexican food, program good and portion dimension too. Acquired the burrito that was fine, no salsa offered with the nachos. Affordability was ok.

The meals was bland, that is not everything you expect for Mexican food. The prices were a lot more than what we’ve paid in Penang/George city and i cant realize why. The product quality was average, I assume, and the portions had been really small. There’s an image of3 ‘tacos’ on the menu nevertheless, you just get one for the purchase price. The taxes is added after Plus they want one to pay a 10% service charge (which may be good if it had been good service). Service was non-existent plus they completely forgot about people, we literally had to stand at the front end for a couple minutes merely to get someone thus we could pay. Over the main street is Filled with street food, so that it suites all sorts, cooked fresh, cheap and looks great quality (locals were experiencing it alongside tourists that i always come across to mean its good, fresh and fairly priced). Wish we'd have gone there!

Pros: *Good quality meat *Fresh quality ingredients (restricted) Cons: *The nearly all bland and without flavour Mexican food I’ve ever endured *They can’t make salsa *The cheese is minimal and low quality *Poor service *Hidden costs added *Small portions *No sauce inside the food *Nospices *No real salsa (cut tomato and a natural herb…) We don’t recommend you take in here if you're a Mexican or even Westerner, it’ll be considered a disappointment and nothing beats you’re used to. Don’t choose something that’s significantly less than mediocre. Don’t trust another reviews, many of them are usually Chinese vacationers who don’t possess any level of knowledge of Mexican/Tex Mex to compare it to, or they're locals who haven’t travelled much to try good Mexican or Tex Mex (no offense intended).*. It is a restaurant for locals to take pleasure from their local version of Mexican food. Look out, they added 6% taxes and added a 10% support cost after adding that 6% tax. The services was poor plus they wouldn’t allow us take away the service charge. The easiest way forward would be to include taxes and charges in the initial prices, this is exactly what honest and good countries do (other restaurants here do that). The reason being the tourist may only have a restricted budget remaining, inside our case it had been our yesterday evening and last little bit of neighborhood currency, we almost couldn’t pay the costs after they added plenty of additional hidden charges - We had been calculating our bill once we proceeded to go, but it finished up much more pricey and still left us feeling unhappy, once they rejected to eliminate the service cost for poor assistance (walked around staff to obtain their attention on three events). Automatic service charges are harmful to customers if you ask me, there is absolutely no incentive to provide the meals service because the service charge is definitely guaranteed. This cafe is really a case in point. *It is similar to us inside the West claiming the Chinese meals at an area takeaway is amazing, but we just really eat poultry balls and chips, without knowledge of actual decent Chinese food

Essential whenever I’m inside Penang. Kids preferred Mexican sumptuous food. Ideal for your meal. The Nachos ala Bomba is crucial HAVE and I really like the Pulled Beef Barbacoa!

Good food and huge portions - drinks also wonderful - only bad thing is usually seated on lengthy tables close to others- this isn’t great during COVID
