The food here's good though a little more pricy in case you are ordering their ala carte dishes. Their noodles and rice models are affordable. Our favourite may be the fishball seaweed soup and chincalok. However a few of the service staff certainly are a bit 'stuckup'.

Not the 1st time here. As usual, tasty needlessly to say. Lei Cha, vinegar pork leg etc are yummy. Yoohoo!

If you're a fan of Hakka meals , nor know where to move in Penang to obtain it, it is possible to give Hakka Tree a go. There are two branches of the restaurant, one situated in Tesco Tanjung Pinang and another at GurneyPlaza (Basement level). The food is fairly great and do try ordering a few of the more authentic hakka dishes like "lei cha" aka lightning tea or the pork dishes like pork belly or "tong por yuk" (fatty pork with man tao in thick dark sauce). In case you are much less adventurous, you can test the hakka mee plus some "yeong tofu" (stuffed veggies with fish meat) Price wise is really a little bit on the high aspect but considering how hard it really is to get great and authentic hakka meals in Penang, it is possible to definitely give this location a go once awhile.

the meal was expensive and the meals was mediocre at best. The program had been horrible, and the entire experience was totally disappointing, from the hakka person.

We visited the eating place 3 times whenever we were in Penang for medical factors, therefore far the foods have already been awesome!! The assistance has been excellent and friendly, plus they are presently having promotion to getting a free plate of noodles after specific purchase.Essential try really :)

Though it was only lunchtime, several items on menu were sold-out, so we were told. Four dishes we purchased had been all below par and rm140 for a straightforward lunch time for 3 pax has been far from satisfactory.

Employees not trained to assist guests at all. Cost expensive and eliminate product was a ripped-off. Won't return back or recommend. Cooking area operated by foreigners. Need to pay very first for takeaway even though waiting at the cafe.
Hakka Tree is located at F27 Tesco Tanjung Pinang, George Town, Penang Island Malaysia. This is a Chinese restaurant near the George Town. This restaurant is very popular and has a good reputation. Many food bloggers also visit this restaurant to make mukbang.
