This small restaurant can be an old-time favourite for many years - it's specialty dishes are its boneless chicken with plum sauce and its own yin yang fish - pomfret that is prepared in two ways - deep fried aswell steamed. Delicious. The cafe is little thoughand even when it isn't complete, if five tables are usually taken, they'll usually hang a "complete" sign outside therefore reservations are recommended. Provider could be slow too therefore prepare yourself. But it's worthy of the wait.

This restaurant has been here for a long time. Some twenty years ago when I very first moved back again to Penang, my children frequented this place. Nevertheless, through the years with therefore many new eateries accessible, we stopped coming right here. Two recent appointments convinced methat the meals continues to be good, old signature meals remain available. And I'm glad.

Another favourite location for my couple of friends and We when we come in Penang. We such as this place because the Chinese foods served here's quite unique and various from that which is situated in KL. Our favourite dish this is actually the pomfret cooked2 methods i.electronic. the de-boned meats is mix fried with veges in a lighting sauce as the deep fried some other bits of the seafood are served privately. Perfect combo with regards to flavor & texture. The fried poultry with plum sauce can be good, together with the onion prawns. We purchased mix fried kai lan which ended up being super tasty as in addition to the normal garlic, this vege can be fried with items of crispy dried seafood (I have no idea what it's known as in Hokkien). It provides both texture aswell an additional taste profile to the complete dish. This place can be a must-visit for each trip to Penang.

Visited this half-century older restaurant with local close friends. In accordance with our friends, it'll be a unique knowledge to have supper at Double Dragon. Certainly, it didn't disappoint. Our pre-ordered supper contains 6 courses/dishes, which were excellent. Program was attentive, andwe got an enjoyable night.

Our family have already been gathering as of this restaurant so long as we can remember. Initially known as Dragon Inn, their close up family members branched out to Greenlane, Double Dragon, to use a new eating place that served the previous favourites. Once the original proprietors of Dragon Inndecided to close up the initial establishment in Gottleib Street, the relatives shifted their operations back again from Greenlane in to the original premises. Both authentic Dragon Inn and Double Dragon acts the same food that you could only arrive here. The aged favourites for our loved ones contains San Choi Bao, Seafood Maw Soup, Mabo Tofu, Deep Fried Battered Poultry w Plum Sauce, Infant Lettuce with Beef, Seafood Cooked 2 Ways - Heavy Fried & Pan Fried amongst various other dishes and always closing with Longan with Grass Jelly
