nostalgic deco with coordinating tunes...Mushroom soup is freakin' awesome! Foods was excellent aswell and can believe that the chef actually put his/her center into every dish. Gula melaka tiramisu is crucial try as well!

I simply like the countless cafés housed within renovated and properly conserved old structures. It gets the added appeal and nostalgic experience to it. And that is what Gastro Hauz cafe is focused on. Properly decorated with age older daily products and imbued with melancholic Chinesesongs of yesteryears. The ambience speaks louder compared to the food and beverages. Kinda away from the map but still a fine spot to relax.

This is an incredible find in Georgetown for anybody who appreciate old shanghai theme and feel. We completely enjoyed our moments right here listening to classic tracks while sipping espresso and experiencing a slice of cakes. The trip of time was therefore memorable we proceeded to go backtwice in weekly!

Fell in love initially sight, it is a unique cafe for individuals who appreciate the nostalgic sense of the 60s and 70s. Excellent espresso and soup to complement the passionately decorated and furnished placing. Another great find never to be missed.

Went there for supper with few close friends. We purchase the combo, food had not been so excellent. The Chinese burger will be awful. The bun on the burger was ignored. Very tough to consume and feel therefore greasy! We also purchase a house salad. Following a couplebites, we Found two curly hair in the salad, informed the waiter and present it to him. He states almost nothing, not even present to exchange for a fresh one or an apologize. We can not actually eat the salad that was included with two hair any more. therefore i had to obtain a fresh one. He did delivered us a fresh one but didn't even provide us a apologize. I must say the food had not been that great, plus poor customer support. I would not at all going there anymore.
