First-time there & staffs understand how to introduce and I’m content with their recommendations. Individually I loved the pumpkin soup quite definitely. U must put on Spanish iberico pork shoulder and stomach, is tasty. While for the pork spare-ribs, it'll be ideal ifthey put even more gravy along with it.

Although Barry’s cafe is even more on the costly side, hardly any money spent is really worth the tasty food and cozy atmosphere that invites you here.

The very best pork ribs I've EVER had! Finger licking good! Enjoyed the pint of completely poured Guinness upon tap. I am back tomorrow!

This is a breath of oxygen. A nice pleasant bar, delivering some excellent food at an excellent price. There always appears to be a particular off on the beer and an extremely comfortable surround.

The beer was icy cold, served in a chilled glass! Made an Australian guy a very delighted traveller. The atmosphere and the support was great.

We visited yesterday evening as several buddies recommended Barry's Cafe to us. Menu says the area is for 'affordable good dining'. Inexpensive, at a cost - it really is. Fine dining - no chance: much too casual a collection up for that, & not just a tablecloth or material napkin in sight. Pleased with SOPs for interpersonal distancing etc etc. We chose our desk & the bar guy brought on the menus - extensive selection of items. We just wanted a beer & a primary meal. Hubby went for the original English-style beer battered seafood & chips (with ocean bass steak) in RM39.90. Looked great, but the chips had been fries (always obtain fries in Malaysia, never chips) & these were therefore over cooked. We question there is any potato inside them. The seafood in batter looked an excellent man-size part - until he began to cut in & take away the batter. Lastly found a seafood steak - that was tasty - about 6cm x 4cm. Never value for what we compensated. He was very dissatisfied with his meal. We chose mushroom Swiss cheese pulled poultry burger: I love pulled meat meals but this was included with the poultry & Chinese mushrooms all confusing in a spicy over powering BBQ design sauce - no chance may i taste the individual flavours. Once again, my fries had been overcooked: these were orange, which experienced me thinking they could have been nice potato fries. I furthermore found a long tresses in the filling. Support - can't fault that from all. Tiger & Guinness has been good, if slightly more costly for what we generally pay in Georgetown region. The TVs showed videos of travelers visiting the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin (good once we have been there). Uncertain who translated what (sound was off) however the translation was inadequate, & some words quite definitely out of location such as which includes 'heart' & 'penis' when viewing a pint of Guinness becoming poured! Otherwise, vocals was a good collection of 'oldies' songs. So, in every 2 mains, pint of Guinness & cup of Tiger had been RM123 (about £20). Suitable, but inadequate value for the seafood & chips. Doubt we'll return back. Incidentally, hubby put up an identical article on Barry's Cafe Facebook - & it had been deleted. Appears like the dog owner only loves to keep good feedbacks on there!
