We attained Gotong Jaya during lunchtime around 1pm. It had been peak season school vacations and there have been many vacationers and locals. We considered trying out another restaurant this time around and walked into Restoran Tak Kee. Before we were seated, the waiterasked the ladyboss whether would they do our business of 2 people (I suppose they only accept a big entourage). We had been seated on a desk near the cleaner. They sent a waitress who couldn't recommend any meals and there is no menu. Only in a short time the ladyboos came. We purchased 'mun yee mee' noodles, fried otak otak and stri fry spinach. Whenever we asked whether we are able to order single dishes in order that we can purchase another dish, ladyboss rudely stated " We just have dishes for a lot more than 2." in an exceedingly arrogant manner. The laundry were oily even for the stir fry veggies. During our foods, another couple sat lower on a table plus in a short time left without ordering.Possibly ladyboss doesn't wish to accomplish their business. The 3 meals and a pot of tea expenses us RM48. The laundry all doubled the purchase price evaluate to Kuala Lumpur. That is expected. Ladyboss didn't give you thanks or anything. That's rude.

After a longer uphill journey, we found Tak Kee that appeared to be fairly popular compared to the other dining places in your community. Our purchase was taken by somebody who seems like the girl boss, who politely recommended some choices. Then simply because thefood arrived, among the waiter (may be the dog owner) noticed I has been taking photos and wanted to assist snap some pictures with my children. I'm uncertain if he had been mute or deaf but he has been doing sign language to describe that the ginger seafood was good reason behind the way it had been blended. Yeah you can view from the image. Prawns were huge and deliciously protected in kicap. Everything had been flawlessly seasoned and helped fight the winter. We're returning here for sure!

Emerged here for lunch time after looking into from resort. Lady boss got our purchase n recommended some "meals" (expensive ones) but we simply wanted some simple meals as we've heavy past due brekkie at the resort. We purchased fried hokkien noodle, Cantonese meehoon and avege rather. Upon hearing our inexpensive purchase, her facial expression transformed and walked apart w/o a good smile. The same would go to the boss and the boy once we observed while looking forward to our food. It operates in the household I'm sure! Mediocre foods, maybe I'm bias following the experience. Not really gonna keep coming back for certain! Afterall, this is simply not the only cafe in gohtong Jaya!

Haven't been up within the highlands for a lot more than 12 many years and drove around Goh Tong Jaya for supper with buddies. Understood that place serve some wonderful fresh water, crazy river seafood from Pahang condition. We ordered a crazy pating also it wasnicely completed. The meat was really tender and your skin had been thicker and tastier compared to the commercially bred kind. There wasn't that very much fats at the stomach area as well. The sauce was extremely nicely done, sweet rather than too salty. Evidently, they use a particular soya sauce stated in Bentong. Overall, a good dinner and worthy of the long drive around the highlands for supper.

Arrived here on brother’s recommendation. We'd steamed shortly hock (must), ginger fried chicken, strong fried crispy pork tummy, french coffee beans, and kiam chai tofu soup. We also ordered one assist of Singapore fried beehoon. The dishes are great. Somehow the seafood dish came outbetter when compared to a near identical dish offered in a prestigious eating place in KL.

Visited this restaurant a long time ago and returned following a game of golfing @ Awana. For12 adults we'd the possibility to try many dishes...10 altogether. Place is relatively clear, service is quick and react to our requirements fulfilled in a jiffy. Trythe steamed patin... it's fresh plus they steamed it perfectly! Steamed tofu, a straightforward dish, was perfectly done. Remaining meals are commendable, above typical quality, and serving part isn't small. Prices not really exorbitant but sensible. Will return.

When we asked Simply no PRICE DISPLAYED In THE FOOD MENU, everything count via for each 100g in accordance with weight & all within Chinese Words ? What about those that dont understand Chinese ? Huh ? including poultry & pork ribs & vege dish furthermore COUNT BY per 100g ? ^&$#&#^& hahaha Please End up being HONEST when conducting business. Lala mee hoon soop soup is indeed diluted, tasteless. Food is indeed so only, OVERRATED.

It is a casual restaurant for far reaching Chinese food covering seafood, meat, vegetables and also turtles. The cooking will be lighting, not too oily, not really too salty - a little home prepared feel. I believe it’s good to use this cafe. Suggest to possess anearly lunch since it will get crowded during peak hrs. I found the meals generally clean and tasty.
