This has to function as best location for Center Eastern. It is located in what appears to be an Arab enclave at the Ivory Mall in Gelugor. I had been blown out to start to see the row of dining places on the plaza, many of them serving middle-easternfare. The menus is extensive, but we arrived past due, so chicken kebab was the only real meat option still available. It had been good chicken and actually nicely prepared, and was included with a yummy bowl of humus/tahini combine (see my photos). Prices are also affordable here, in comparison to those inside Batu Ferringhi or even Precinct 10. Next time we shall come previous and order the lamb. I'm a lover of Middle-Eastern foods, so getting Al Shami for me personally was exciting. Addititionally there is another middle-eastern eating place, run by way of a Syrian family on the street in the Piazza Mall. It’s much smaller (not really detailed on TA), and will be similar to home cooking. Additionally it is excellent and worth a go if you are usually in your community. I can’t keep in mind what it’s called, nonetheless it is on road level beyond your Mall complex close to another café. When searching for Khayrat Al-Sham, remember that on the road signage is composed “Al Shami”. Parking will be across the street, and must not be too difficult.
