We had us (9 pax) dinner recently. We ordered yee sang, french beans, stir fry chives, barbequed pork, steamed chicken, steamed fish, a tauhu dish and garlic flavoured rice. All dishes was delicious except the steamed garupa that was a large disappointment. They didnot have the complete fish and offered us fish slabs instead which on hindsight was a blunder to accept. It had been a vintage fish hence the meat was rough and we left the majority of it. It was coming in at RM112 that was not worthwhile. Service that night was sub par. It had been very full since it was near CNY. We waited an excellent half an hour for the dishes despite the fact that we pre-ordered. The fish came last and there is an extended gap before it eventually arrived. Our total bill was RM389.

We chanced upon the restaurant while searching for another path to KL from the North-South Expressway (NSE) that was badly jammed. It really is about 25km off the NSE but really worth the drive. Their specialty may be the steamed chicken served with ginger sauce andgarlic rice - delicious!!! Another specialty is their homemade taufoo with minced pork - super delicious!! We also had a steamed chaat-sin-pan that has been cooked to perfection. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and we'll be visiting again for certain, whether on our journeys along NSE as well as just to have a nice long weekend drive.

Our first-time trying this restaurant and we have been pleased with both food quality and friendly service. We tried several dishes and each is excellent. We especially enjoyed the fried pork knuckle! Dessert was excellent too. We will get back to trytheir other dishes soon. There's parking while watching restaurant but it can be close to an extremely busy traffic light junction. Far better park nearby and walk to the restaurant instead.

Being to the restaurant going back few years and every year, we shall dine here a few times, sometime more. Is definitely comfort food for all of us. Top quality food and services at an acceptable price.... among my favorites.

Back again following the last trip in August. Standard of food continues to be consistent. We'd two different dishes this time around; pig trotter tendon with bean curd in clay pot and the black big pepper ribs. Both of these have become good and recommend. Whatwas just a little disappointed was that directly after we had our Loi Hei, all of those other dishes took quite a while to be served. Following the first 3 dishes were served, all of those other dishes too another any period of time to serve. A number of the female staff were also not attentive and slow (among the managers need to even call them out to serve tea and clear plates). Have to improve on customer support.

Regardless of the restaurant having 3 schedule sessions for CNY dinner, the meals is not any doubt, still remain great and consistent, the service is remain friendly. The cod fish, prawns, herbal chicken and suckling pig are being among the most favorable dishes. The portion is big aswell. The only real drawback is insufficient parking bay. If you are coming with senior on wheelchair, you will need to call them to reserve a parking bay.

This is supposedly the very best restaurant in Chemor. For a little town, that is good but in comparison to restaurants I'm Ipoh, that is quite normal. Decor is normal. Food is good however, not outstanding however the pudding really was good. Service was fast and pricewas reasonable.
