Been hearing a whole lot about Taiping well-known "heong pheng", and Biscuit Tupai Emas was the initial arrived to my mind since it is strongly suggested by the locals. Initial and oldest in Taiping, this is a conventional pastries filled up with caramelised brown glucose and wrappedwith crispy biscuit epidermis, definitely THE INITIAL in Taiping.
