This place had the very best Malaysian food I've ever had in my own entire life. The standard of the elements were refreshing and beautifully executed. Authentic Malaysian flavours. It had been a little on the pricey-part but worth it. An excellent restaurant. I really was surprisedto note that this restaurant had not been listed on Vacation Advisor. Essential go-to when in Penang. Recommend. The fish dishes specifically are exceptional.

If you're somebody who likes peranakan food, this cafe is a place you need to try when in Penang. First of all, they serve authentic perankan cuisine . And the costs aren't that expensive. What I love probably the most may be the Assam prawn . Is notthose gravy kind which we will have in singapore. But is those lightly coated with sauce and the sourness from the sauce and the sweetness from the prawn helps it be to my top 10 food of 2013 that I tried. Happens to be a restaurant that you need to visit if you are in Penang......

Yummy perenakan food inside Georgetown. Affordable and relaxing atmosphere. The kapitan poultry was worth the 2km stroll from my hotel to the restaurant.

If you plan to have peranakan food, it is possible to consider to go to this eating place. Ordered assam prawns, sambal kang kong, salted veggie and duck soup. The meals was wonderful but didnt enjoy the ambience since it was somewhat dim and the dog owner likes toplay karaoke. What I really like most has been the assam prawn though it doesnt appear appetizing when served however when you flavor it, it is certainly appetizing to your tastebuds. Overall, a yummy expertise for both my moms and dads and I.

Tempted to go to the place predicated on feedback and examine. However a little disappointed - I really believe the cause is I'm local Malaysian and currently used to strong flavor. Ordered laksa along with rice - as well bland for my flavor. Nevertheless, for foreigners,i assume this can be a good spot to sample malaysian, especially jawi peranakan cuisines. As well harmful to me it simply didn't match. We were served by the Chef himself - great guy.
