We came here for supper and just like the ambience of the cafe. Very popular with locals. They provide local hawker food plus some western dishes and so are well done because of their steam loaf of bread/bun. i believed the food was a hit and skip.We ordered an array of western and neighborhood meals and found the neighborhood char alright teow to become a disappointment. Others were okay and the steamed breads, very good. However, this can not be my very first selection for a eating place in Penang.

Experienced the nasi lemak along with rendang. Could have been very fine but the poultry, though prepared through, tasted meaty. Drank a sirap-bandung like drink, that was good. Service had been pretty decent.

Had lunch with the Straits Quay outlet. A big selection on the menus of Malaysian cuisine and beverages. You make your alternatives from the menus, and work with a key/code to create your choice on an order type. Therefore you might be odering a R60 forexample. The staff accumulates your purchase and you also wait for your meal. For a busy Friday lunchtime the provider was reasonably ok. It quickly became obvious that lots of of the employees were foreigners, therefore some miscommunication. The meals was ok. But nothing at all to shout about. Pricing acceptable. It's the sort of spot to go to if you are out of options. Car parking was simple in the multi-tale carpark.
