Not worth the purchase price. Portion is as well little. The toast was fine. The area was too small. The table ought to be bigger.

We visited here each morning of our 3 excursion to Penang for a bit of their delicious doorstop toast with different toppings and a glass of decent espresso. It place us up properly for your day and I would recommend to anyone lookingfor a straightforward, fresh breakfast. The employees were very friendly.

A MUST-Proceed when in Penang without those unnessary wasting period queues. Best local espresso with the very best local toast (internal freshly bake) as well as coconut jam & butter. Thumbs around the boss who begin these freshly made loaf of bread & good coffee.

Place is great and clean and good organized and service is excellent but there wasn't anyone right now there. Which should have told us something. In any case the Malaysian roti bakar and kaya and roti bakar and peanut butter was generally a toast rather than theMalaysian roti bakar. Taste wasn't too poor but we could did the toast ourselves also it wouldn't be a lot different.

Serves common breakfast menus of toasted loaf of bread, half-boiled eggs, bacon and eggs, local espresso etc. at affordable cost. The place is a lot even more spacious than before, and cozy and hot, and the delicious odor of breakfast will be in the air! Please note that cafehas recently moved further later on from the location with this map (this evaluation is written inside August 2017; I am hoping the map provides been updated right now). It is today at the part of the junction between Lebuh Campbell and Jalan Pintal Tali. Search for an iconic natural/purple building selling fabric BOON WAH, and Lollipop Ropitiam is merely on another corner of exactly the same intersection. And this place acts pork bacon within their menu. So it's a non-halal place. However they do possess non-pork menus (toasted bread).

Not a well-identified ropitiam by vacationers and local people, however they possess tastier butter kaya toast/breads, soft boiled eggs, coffee, etc. Worthy of a go if you are not used to this ropitiam.

This place is fantastic. The leavened breads/roll they make use of for kaya toast is indeed. GOOD!!! They use genuine butter, and the kaya pass on can be top notch. Obtain the kaya toast and a gentle boiled egg privately for a tasty and inexpensive breakfast, add espresso or pulled tea as well! The decor is great and thoughtful, however the costs are dirt-cheap local costs, especially given how top quality the ingredients are.

If you are searching for traditional breads n espresso for breakfast I'd say this location is an excellent choice. They serve wonderful latte. We attempted the boiled ayam kampong, tuna cheese loaf of bread, kaya butter toast and lollipop traditional (pork bacon). We've been theretwice. They keep up with the quality and flavor of food. Price will be average so nothing at all to complain about.
