La Vie is situated in a reasonably new hotel (Le Desire Boutique Hotel) that is section of the apparent continuing gentrification of a road previously occupied by hardware stores and motorcycle repair functions. The hotel lobby itself is fairly garish however the spacious restaurant is thankfully more sober. The menus is fairly short and among additional dishes includes a good collection of beef and lamb cuts offered with either veggies. Our first program was spectacular: tasty scallops just somewhat sautéed and offered in a delicately flavoured jus, worth the best dining places. Our mains (grilled beef for a few and pasta all agio et olio for others) was equally delicious, the beef tender and prepared perfectly. There were hardly any individuals eating on the night time we proceeded to go but I really do hope patrons will go to as it will be a shame if this promising begin were cut brief like so numerous others in Penang. Open limited to dinner. The resort uses the cafe at lunchtime as a restaurant.

But, because my BD will be on Christmas Eve, the complete restaurant is indeed noisy and crowded. assistance was sluggish. the wait group cant do very much. the crowd wasreally poor, worst than fish-marketplace, shouting at their top voices. The nice food was wasted. how to proceed when my BD will be on a Xmas Eve. You need to visit La Vie, not about my BD. Still, many thanks the helpless wait around crew, you did well.

I had an enjoyable experience celebrating my birthday celebration with friends and family. Awesome scrumptious fusion foods showcasing chef's creativity. An extremely cozy and hot ambience that produced us feel comfortable through the entire nite. Definitely a-must-go spot to dine in together with your love types. We willbe back.

We have been to numerous birthday events at La Vie including my very own and can recommend it. Kelvin is indeed happy to assist you to with the meals and wines and the services is incredible. We discussed the menus with Kelvin and he assisted withthe greatest types to serve. It had been so great. They actually supplied the cake. Fantastic xx
