My pal and I came inside a friday afternoon, tea period. They have an extremely nice ambience and an extremely nostalgic vibe. Both of us purchased Ice lemon tea and I purchased soup. The soup has been wonderful but our ice lemon tea had been wayyyy to sour. It's great to use lemons however they are usually kinda too generous on the lemon. Anyway, we had an enjoyable experience there.

calm but cosy invest the center of the busy Upper Penang Road area, this is actually the right spot to go. The style is fairly unique, showcasing older tailors stuff, including materials and old to latest sewing machines. Wealways price all of the restaurants we try based on food, provider and ambience. My hubby, son and I ranked the area 9/10 after a excellent dinner. This cafe is one of the top-rated we have attempted on our gastronomic journey in Penang. We'll certainly go back.

The layout of Kwong Sang home is exclusive and homely. The eating place serves decent, reasonable meals and contains friendly staff members. Because the place is rather little, the washroom is situated on the first flooring and elderly patrons could find it a tad challenging toclimb up a steep trip of stairs. A small library can be available upstairs to focus on enthusiastic readers. Overall, it was a satisfying evening for me.

Enjoy the ambience, very homely and old-schooled. A vintage tailor shop design with photos and decos that provide the complete ambience out. However, food was just typical and dessert wasn't as well good. Uncertain if it had been bought from someplace else and offered or madein-house. Do note of these opening hours because they don't open between 2.30pm and 6pm.

were able to visit this store the other day when our group made a decision to have out hook up available. we booked the initial floor and i love the cozy part with cushion chair and library with this floor, seriously an excellent spot to spend yourafternoon or night time, just sipping espresso and reading an excellent book. i attempted the creamy poultry soup, that is delicious and not as well creamy. the honey green tea extract was a too nice for my liking. will surely get back to try another dishes :)

We attained 5.45pm but has been made to wait inside our car because the waiter said the cafe only opens at 6pm. After starting, we were informed that the kitchen isn't prepared yet. Up till 6.45pm the meals isn't ready or served. Onboth occasions visiting the restaurant several dishes weren't available. Nevertheless thumbs upward for the meals and the ambience. The staff members could do with an increase of smiles.

Went there the other day during supper at around 7 something and just 2 tables of customers as well as our are 3 tables. Need to wait a lot more than 20 mins for the meals to serve. But general the food is okay. The tomatoes soup will be kindaspecial, cooked with dark pepper so it's a little spicy even more towards like home-produced kind by the restaurant. However the soup was offered after our primary course kinda slow. General, can go to try this place because the decoration is quite homely with the tailor design decor.

Came back once again to this place, this time around with my moms and dads to possess our dinner. i nevertheless love the cozy atmosphere. Even though service is really a bit slow, i really believe it will be because the meals is prepared refreshing. This time we attempted the paprika chickenspaghetti that is spicy sauce and grilled poultry. i love it coz it is extremely different from the most common tomato/ lotion pasta that i have got. The seafood marinara can be tasty because the tomato based will be slightly various and creamy, offered with generous quantity of seafood :) we furthermore attempted the 'fish in stove', which is seafood baked in cooker, with mash potato and refreshing salad. would like to attempt the pizza the next time :)

Our section came here for the NY Eve luncheon. Meals was pre-ordered (we purchased the set foods). Despite they'll only be helping ice lemon tea and tomato soup, nothing has been prepared whenever we reached a quarter-hour after our reserved period. Both the beverages andtomato soup came into being 30minutes after. However, the soup was amazing. I don't usually fancy tomato soup but that one was just various. The only real downside was it had been slightly significantly less than lukewarm. The initial main course came half an hour after. And subsequent major course emerged in delay of nearly 15 minutes among. Desserts had been a scoop of ice lotions of your selection - 4 flavours to select from. Overall, the food has been delicious. The aglio olio had been nice but was offered without ham, as mentioned in the menus. It had been a tad too dried out but the taste is excellent. Chicken portioning is little but again, the flavor was fantastic. I guess I'll not be again because of the service and waiting period.

This place comes with an interesting story behind it, since it was previously a dress producing shop and garment factory. The meals is good, program was quick. Worthy of visiting.
