The locals revere Ah Leng Char Kway Teow, that is here for lunch time, and in Air Itam for supper. The standard plate is RM6 possesses the biggest, crunchiest prawns in Char Kway Teow I've ever seen. There exists a the right quantity ofcrispy lard, chilli bite and earthy cockles. The bean sprouts are usually plump and snappy and the part right. The Particular costs RM10.50. Include more huge prawn and a generous pile of mantis shrimp that have a darker taste and incredibly tender. Interesting, however the RM6 plate matches me fine! Park inside the strip mall car parking lot adjacent, and hold your expectations lower in the coffeeshop. You're here for the meals. There exists a lorbak and true prawn crackers stall. They re-fry the things selected before helping, and functions lean chunks of gently seasoned pork in the rolls. The true prawns had been generous and held jointly by a moderate quantity of batter. The chilli sauce had been tangy and punchy and ideal for the snacks. The complete flavor profile is well balanced and are also the textures.

There are very little stalls at this restaurant, but people click here generally for Ah Leng's Char Kuay Teow. For a more substantial plate, nearly RM10 i believe, you can increase mantis prawns to your bowl of CKT. Among my favourites in Penang

Has been recommended by other tourists that this is the greatest char kuey teow around. Tried this also it tastes excellent! Like how they not really cook the cockles. Individually like cockles a whole lot! I was first baffled by waze. It leaded me to somewherenear Komtar nonetheless it was not really there. You need to stroll along Jalan dato Keramat and soon you see law enforcement station on ur still left. Continue and it's on your own right! This is a corner great deal shop. My friend attempted the kuey teow soup furthermore, it had been good too!!

It was a significant long wait (around >30mins) for the Exclusive Edition Ah Leng Char Kway Teow and the soft smooth rice noodles was cooked with with 4 large prawns, some cockles and best it off with items of Mantis Prawns meats. Overall it wasquite tasty but a little pricey at RM14.00. Anyway it's worthy of a try in the event that you haven't been there. The roast poultry & roast meats rice shop at nearby was pretty tasty too but a little pricey as well.
