I simply ate at Kafe Ping Hooi. The meals was terrible, salty, large amount of msg no flavour at all. A few of the original retailers are forget about there. In August 2016 I wrote an extremely complimentary overview of Ping Hooi on website but sincethen the typical has been dropping now it hit very cheap! Covid -19 isn't a justification for yucky food. The hokkien mee, as soon as so famous, was bland, the beehoon (vermicelli) was uncooked and the soup didn't taste fresh, similar to having been re-heated often. The initial seller is not really there any more. At the lobak stall: The lobak is all (beancurd) skin with just a tiny quantity of meat inside that was really salty. The prawn fritters had been two tiny shrimp in an exceedingly floury blend. I paid to consume fried flour! No flavor at all. Left the majority of the lobak and fritters on the plate. The famous char koay teow isn't so famous any longer. The "cook" (who was simply among the assistants who utilized to serve the clients!) simply tossed in the koay teow (toned rice noodles), gave it an instant stir, additional a dollop of chilli, threw in a few bean sprouts, soy sauce, an egg, a few tasteless frozen prawns, and it had been prepared. I knew that following the first mouthful I will not be heading back again. The worst thing thing was that among the stalls was using old oil, probably rancid oil, to fry some noodles and the smell and smoke was so horrible and suffocating that people left as fast once we could without finishing our drinks. Therefore, please do yourself the favour, save your valuable money and with regard to your health, look for a better spot to eat in. I'm deeply disappointed since it was as soon as my preferred kopi tiam (kafe) to visit. RIP

Prawn mee and char Kway teow (would added eggs) are traditional Penang Street meals delicacies here! I transformed upon the Mala spicy wanton noodles, it’s good aswell! Great food with great prices. A basically down-to-earth place to consume your lunch here.

Among the specialty inside this restaurant may be the Tiger Char Koay Tiow, that is considered among the top 10 Choy koay tiow inside Penang. This char koay tiow provides plenty of ‘wok hei’ and something can choose between poultry or duck eggs.Of duck egg is a lot more wholesome and moreover few stalls serve duck eggs too.
