The food taste is quite nice and also have a heavy touch of authentic Chinese cooking. The serving period is really fast. Meals were served in under 10 mins following the purchase was taken. Taste sensible, I'd rate it as among the best5 in Penang. But there's one downside this is the individuals this restaurant hired. Mainly are cheap international labors (I'm guessing they're either Nepalese or Myanmarese). The several fellows who focus on my table are instead rough. And although we have been almost hands-off from the desk, they just assumed most of us had completed eating and began to drive out everything before also asking if we have been done. And they take action just so rapidly giving us the impact that they are attempting to chase us apart. Apart from this unsatisfied support I received, I've no other complaint. Nevertheless, you all out there is going and have a go. Just cease those waiters/waitresses should they start doing a thing that you don't like.

I suppose few tourists help make their way here, but should you choose the food won't disappoint. Acquired the prawns in pumpkin and butter sauce (delicious!), crispy poultry (excellent), and gai-lan in garlic sauce (not oily, greatest green vegetable dish up to now after10 times of non cease eating in Penang).

On 11th Might 2016 several friends and my children visited this restaurant for lunch time and we weren't disappointed at all. THE MEALS was outstanding and the ambience had been very pleasant. The service was 5 star plus. The employees attended to our requirements without askingand the chef ready the laundry to perfection. The duck has been moist and meaty. Your skin crispy. Cost was very reasonable. Recommend this dish. The rest of the dishes were extremely palatable and affordable. All in all most of us had an excellent meal in excellent ambience.

Paid parking available Great deco with tanks for live seafood Service is fast but then the area is quiet for lunch time Live Soon Hock seafood cooked two methods ( clay pot and steam ) is fairly niceFried vegetable , extra rib and noodle are typical Reasonable pricing Not worth a particular trip

We were going to my son's in-laws inside Penang. They got us To Hei Yeong Seng the final night we have there been and we shared an extremely nice dinner. The meals was mainly unfamiliar to us, but we trusted them to obtain us by way of a veryinteresting dinner. There have been seafood and pork and fried tofu, vegetables and lots of other meals. We enjoyed enough time with them and the household kind of sharing this is the Chinese tradition.

I believe it's been quite some years since we found dine at HYS. Just two folks - challenging to order dishes. We purchased claypot pork trotter prepared in fermented tofu, neptune (blended seafood) tofu and a thai-style sharkfin soup. Thesharkfin soup was great; almost exactly like what I tasted in Bangkok. The tofu had been OK but not excellent. The pork trotter has been prepared soft but tasted as well salty; not balanced. The service was good and attentive. Sort of create up for the common food.

I recently had supper here with loved ones and we enjoyed 5 meals - all were excellent and tasty. The cooking here's refined and the provider is attentive. Among the best Chinese areas on the island.

About 19 folks had a celebratory dinner at 2 tables in the private function room tonite just past. We'd about 8 meals each table in every including dessert. Food flavor is good - specifically commendable dishes had been the excellently steamed new prawns,nyonya steamed seafood, and the sharkfin-design soup with crabmeat rather. The private space made all the distinction - ambience has been cosy and our 2 tables felt quite definitely connected. Most of us had an extremely enjoyable celebratory supper amongst good friends.

We celebrate birthday celebration of memeber of us and ordered Mee Tiao, as Teochew Custom, it was good. We were also shock that the apertizer dish Jelly Seafood was crunchy and tasty.

Good food, fast serving, helpful and helpful staffs and great ambience. Like the Mongolian lamb, steam seafood with Nyonya sauce and Blend Veggies with lotus roots. Car parking can be acquired. Large dining area; could be for big functionality and private rooms as well. Very recommended!
