That is one resto I never miss when arriving at Penang. Can't obtain any fresher after that being live. Cost a bit higher then your rest in city so it seems however the food is excellent. Only sad back again is if you want a cup ofwine to opt for the tasty seafood you should BYO and that we now have no wine eyeglasses provided. Other after that that great spot to eat.

A big eatery, unostentatious within, one is quickly drawn towards the huge aquarium and shelf filled with fishes and veggies. Their aptly coined tagline "If it swims We've it" is apparently befitting. There exists a selection of Fish, Prawn, Lobster, Crab and Seafood dishes. Vegetablesare refreshing. This is a very busy and well-known place, Diners youthful and older throng to it in amounts to relish the delicious offerings.

We went there for the late breakfast. It is a comfortable eating place with fine ambience. I picked this once we have a huge group of 13 which is among few places that may put us using one desk. Dim Sum offering will be quitegood with several pick, high quality is satisfactory. Cost is really a bit on higher side because of its place along touristy Gurney Travel. Had seafood supper there not long ago with good lobster once again quite pricy.

The casual atmosphere and the pick-your-own fish, crab or eel can make this place a must-go restaurant on any tourist’s itinerary. The broccoli with scallops was excellent, and also the steamed snapper. Provider was just a little slow however the experience was delightful.

Was right now there tonight. Captain suggested a seafood (ikan Krai) which he approximated at 1.6 kg. I concurred. Billed at 2.7 kg at Rm148 per kg. Paid it with out a fuss. Please end up being wary that does not eventually you. Incidentally, I aman avid Ikan Krai eater in addition to a fisherman and head to Bagan Samak often to consume the same fish. I can show a 2.7 kg fish from the 1.7 kg fish simply by considering it. Definitely duped. But never again. Please be careful concerning this weight technique that Bali Hai did on myself.

Great display and selection of fresh seafood, and incredibly nicely presented. The beverages staff claim they're not really paid, so did push us for another tip, but overall excellent. While a tad pricey, this is a excellent location and experience

I went there lately celebrate and was extremely disappointed. A very important factor that you can’t do at a Seafood restaurant would be to sell non-live life seafood at live life prices. You can’t try steaming a non live fish and make an effort to pass it as a live onefrom the aquarium. Unfortunately this is what they tried to accomplish. EASILY didn’t bring the problem up with them, they might just keep quiet. Because I brought it up, they admitted they had given me personally a non live seafood, and I was presented with a low cost for the fish. We told them that is an extremely dishonest practice. My rich friends such as going there since they know the supervisor and he won’t dare to cheat them. All I can tell Bali Hai is this: I simply a typical wage earner and don’t know restaurant proprietors or managers. If I need to begin knowing them before I could head to eat … all I could point out is that Bali Hai doesn’t deserve our assistance.

The food here's excellent, the egg squid was perfectly cooked and the Tom yam had the ideal amount of tamarind. Don't let having less tablecloths fool you, the chefs right here really understand their job. Employees friendly, courteous and efficient. Reasonably priced too

We won't pretend we have been seafood connoisseurs but we carry out like good meals and ate at many dining places in Penang. This restaurant is situated close to the two Gurney malls and an easy task to get to. Seating reaches large circular tables with the rotating centre shelfupon that your your meal orders sit. You can find enthusiasts blowing a mist of drinking water which makes the surroundings very pleasant. We ordered chilli crabs, oysters, lobster plus some vegetable side meals. This was finished with significant insight and assist from our waiter and we had been happy with our choices. We came with a child and were helped great the feed having an ice bucket bath that was so nice of these. It's clear and you can view the tanks of drinking water holding the many live seafood creatures. I noticed plenty of residents there too, so it is definitely not a gimmicky tourist trap. I did so look at additional seafood restaurants however they all looked a little rough and prepared, so proceeded to go with this and had not been disappointed. Anticipate visiting again later on.
