First-time here… the chef can be an aunty. The Floral Crab dish is great!! Uncle said that is among their signature dishes… general great dining location but must ready to wait as only 1 lady chef…

If you want Chinese home-cooked foods, this is the spot to be. Their food preparation was excellent, & most of their dishes had been a delight to flavor. We purchased the garoupa steam seafood, honey-glazed fried prawns, fu yong egg, vege and soup. No MSG detected, & most of the laundry were offered at one move. Pricing was affordable and there's ample car parking space across the road.

You hear the sizzling wok increasing in crescendo because the oil gets hotter quickly, the audio loudens suddenly as equipment of ingredients are thrown in to the wok, accompanied by the continuous clanging of steel ladle contrary to the well worn wok. The atmosphere begins to fill up with aromatic smoke cigarettes blanketing the small eating place like clouds in heaven: and you also know you're in meals paradise run by way of a ‘learn’ chef! She expertly prepared up a storm discovered over 50 yrs.This unassuming kitchen in Kampung Baru, Bukit Mertajam has served regular customers because the 1970s. It’s right down to earth house cook meals rival any starred dining places by virtue of its excellent taste only. No it’s not really instagrammable, it’s not really social media marketing hyped but it’s as genuine as what Chinese house cooked meals should be.The 3 folks ordered 5 simple meals:Assam prawns had the superb stability of sweetness, sourness and tangy tamarind coating the new shrimps, the tofu/ bean curd was soft and silky topped with minced meats, even the humble bean sprouts were crunchy, sweet and enhanced with the ideal quantity of salted fish. We couldn’t get sufficient of the cook’s abilities and ordered extras! Basic egg with minced pork had been fluffy and soft, as the ginger pork experienced the proper dash of sesame.Think it’s great.
