Jim Thompson is situated within Cameron Highlands Resort. Parking space on outer road before hotel, cost-free. Great Tea closes at 6pm but we made a decision to try our luck in any case, we arrived at approximately 5pm ish. We have been allowed toorder high tea place plus they allow us to consume move 6pm and won't chase us apart. We decided to purchase RM75 one individual portion and shared in our midst both. 2pax set will undoubtedly be a great deal to finish in like short time. RM75/person RM130 per couple Afternoon Tea Menu: -Smoked Salmon, Egg Mayo Chicken, Cream Cheese with Cucumber Watercress Sandwich -Freshly Baked Scones served with House-Made Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream -Freshly Brew Espresso OR Cameronian Gold Mix Tea Tea flavor could be swap to Vanilla, Mango, Interest Fruit, Lemon with Mandarin, Earl Greywith Tangerine for RM15/pot. Extra Scones at RM10/pc For RM75, personally i think that the things offered are little. Egg Mayo Poultry Sandwich is nice, another 2 soso. Scones are of great texture not dry out, clotted lotion is delly. Pity no butter. We thoroughly enjoyed my high-tea here. The scones had been buttery, hot and delicious, therefore were the lovely pastries at the top tier. I cherished everything right now there. The sandwiches had been also good, specifically the cucumber & lotion cheese types. I ordered the few set, not really surewhy there have been 3 scones, rather than an even number. The tea was normal though. But I drank therefore much tea since i have arrived, so it is becoming blehhh for me Service was good, everyone we encountered as soon as we parked our vehicle till we left has been kind, friendly and expert. Definitely a place I'd like to stop by everytime I have to be able to go to Camerons.

I’d gone right here with several friends for Higher Tea following a trip for work. The tea room is really a beautiful setting, extremely picturesque and the Xmas decorations already are out, that is really great. The wait personnel were friendly and expert. However, thehigh tea established and specifically the scones left too much to be preferred. I’m nearly sure why, however the scones had been dense and tasteless and the accompaniments of clotted lotion and strawberry jam cannot salvage how bland these were. We'd with it a pot of English breakfast which as a typical was offered to us in a big teapot with two single-use tea bags, therefore the maximum you can enjoy was one mug. We’d questioned for another pot also it made an appearance as of exactly the same tea pot was simply refilled with more warm water as our 2nd cup was extremely dilute resembling coloured drinking water. Overall not just a pleasant first-time visit; probably our final.

Service was impeccable. Hi-tea had been delicious. The sandwiches had been gentle and fluffy with good enough fillings to shine through. Loved the heated scones, especially when offered with clotted cream and strawberry jam. (Few places serve clotted lotion nowadays) These were generous and obliged when Irequested for more clotted cream. The desserts were delicious too. Ambience was great making use of their in-house pianist playing songs from the grand piano. Lovely certainly!

It was raining on / off, dampening some planned hike. The resort concierge was very useful to help guide in to the narrow parking and ushered us in. The tea room decoration is distinctly English, sofa, and also have a grans piano. A Koi pond withsome wonderful koi lends a wonderfully comforting ambience because the sound of rainfall drops performs in the backdrop. Restaurant manager recommended the higher tea set for just two, that is included with a pot of Cameronian tea blend. The tier of sweets, pastries, sandwiches and English scones was presented. I have to say the scones will be very good amongst what I've tasted before, with clotted lotion and strawberry jam. Could perform with more helping of jal though.

I actually came here with my boyfriend. We have been carrying out scone hunting since we obtained right here hehe. It's my first-time experiencing high tea also it was an extremely good experience. The purchase price will be steep with rm130++ for a couple of, and it totaling around rm150with taxes. However, the provider is good and helpful, the atmosphere is quite relaxing and lovely. The sandwiches were excellent. For the pastries, the chocolate cake had been sooo incredible, I wish we'd even more haha. The scones, I'd say it's the greatest in Cameron I've tried up to now. It's creamy and dense with Cameronian Good Dark Tea to clean it down. It had been a lovely period and I liked it a lot

Proceeded to go there for lunch 1 day, and great tea the next. Few words concerning the lunch: there exists a dearth of great eateries in Cameron and good sit down places sometimes harder to get. So from that time of view, the area is nice,and contains great ambience. Food will be pricey (as is usually to be anticipated) but not sufficient to justify the purchase price. We ordered seafood and chips and a vegie burger. Chips were so therefore, fish was great, but came as 3 small sticks. Any case the area is known more because of its high tea that i would review another period. I'd go for lunch limited to the ambience, and the truth that there are hardly any nice sit back places in Cameron.

Totally love the ambience within this tea room. Everything looks new, and you can find great sights of the course, blossoms and mountains when you sip tea. Certainly have a walk round the hotel premises to check out the koi ponds, copper tooling and thereading room. Service was good except that whenever they served us all the scones - they gave people too little clotted lotion and strawberry sauce. The scones had been cold by enough time the refill arrived.
