If you're a tourist who hasn't had a steamboat, this is actually the place for you. They'll helpyou every action of just how and the elements are top quality. In case a website, same because of quality of produce. Pricey but worth it!

The steam boat at Gonbei is a good solution to try your hands at cooking your personal Malaysian and Chinese noodle broths. After selecting your broth, the meats or mixed (meats and seafood) platter, and a variety of veggies, you're guided by the friendlystaff in loading everything into your individual steam boat. The flavours are more intense as the components simmer and food portion sizes are massive for the purchase price. Once finished with the broth, an array of delicious desserts can be acquired to round away from the night time on a sweet take note. Very strongly suggested at an elegant and relaxing venue.

As what my name suggested plus what previous visitors added.. it really is all great as steamboat buffet had been the primary focus. 👌👍 However.. I had want that your kitchen could have present more than 2-kind of fried rice ( spicy & non-spicy ) fpr myteenager.

visited here following time since couple of years ago. among my fav eating place in CH. purposely remain right here for the steamboat aswell. excellent service and foods and atmosphere. worthy of the purchase price. especially recommend personnel Hossain. we will come back again.

This is our (category of six) first stop by at Gonbei for a steamboat dinner. We earlier stayed at Cameron Highlands Resorts almost a decade ago, pleased to report that the inside and furnishing continues to be as tasteful and sophisticated but as actually. The cafe is amore modern and modern expansion of the second flooring, comprising of an open-air dining region dealing with the forest. We had been blessed with great, not overtly cold, with no bugs intruding on our supper. Ravi was our waiter for the night and he was instrumental to make our experience among the highlights of our vacation. He has been meticulous, sincere and helpful whilst maintaining a higher degree of professionalism. He complete the substantial meat + seafood menus for us, which arrived with an array of drinks which includes wines, which he furthermore took time and energy to carefully explain. Servings were generous (we have been by no means little eaters), meats were of top quality and the new vegetable produce has been fantastic. Gleam live life grill station with barbecued meals to supplement your food, but we were as well full so we offered that. Seafood was good, but fish was just a little underwhelming - tasted relatively bland and enjoy it had already been frozen. But nonetheless, this is understandable considering that we have been on a mountaintop without the quick access to the coast. Hossan has been lovely and attentive and good, and the supervisor, Ong, came to check on our dinner and has been extremely friendly and warm and engaging. Overall, couldn't be more happy with our experience here. Kudos again to Ravi, Hossan and Ong, will certainly be back again on our next stop by at Cameron Highlands.

Great steamboat environment. Inclusive and noiseless You could have very relax method of steamboat with top quality of veggies. Just a little pricy for the veggies of RM70 per pax exclude meat.

It had been our first connection with Steamboat together thus we were excited to use. The price was affordable (90RM per pax) including meat, seafood and a lot of vegetables plus a selection of 2 broths from 3 choices. The Tom Yum and Veggie brothwere both delicious and the environment of the cafe was nice. There is no music, that is a shame as it could have additional some ambience. The “open” character of the eating place means it will get very very cold, therefore a sweater or coat is necessary. My just criticism is that I'd have liked the employees to request if it had been our first-time having steamboat also to explain a little bit/show us how to proceed. We asked several various passing waiters about factors once we ate but no-one was particularly useful or seemed as well keen to state much apart from “steamboat is simple”. Overall a satisfying first steamboat experience!

This restaurant was previously nice however now visiting again after covid-19 the product quality has really been down. There was previously a buffet with wide selection of different items. Today you just get yourself a few veggies, shop bought noodles, chicken, seafood, shrimp and beefthat is actually poor (tiny slices with plenty of unwanted fat). Dessert will be one, about 8cm lengthy pandan roll and some little slices of strawberries. However the most severe of all, which is just genuine laziness from the chef, they dont serve correct sauce for a sizzling pot. Instead, you'll get Thai lovely chili sauce, soy sauce with lower chili and garlic. Charging over RM400 for 4 adults will not match with the product quality. The only reason I'm not giving 1 superstar is basically because the service had been still good.

It is a great spot to have your steamboat dinner. The surroundings is peaceful and calm unlike the majority of the some other steamboat restaurants round the area. It isn't a buffet BUT ALL Products are refillable. Meat types : Chicken, ShabuShabu Beef, Seafood, Prawn, and assortmentof meats balls... A lot of vegetables. Service was fantastic regardless of only one 1 - 2 person helping 5 tables. A large raise your voice to Himal who's often asking if we are in need of other things and offering free professional photographer services...
