The fish is very fresh and the steamed chicken is very delicious too. We had also order some other dishes and all are taste good as well. The entrance to restaurant is very special with 2 metal bridge. there is a small garden and fishpond( nice for children to see). Price is very reasonable. overall, very much recommended if you looking for lunch or dinner at the area.

Go to Bukit Tinggi (Bentong, not Klang) and you will be spoilt with choices. There are no less than 20 restaurants in this area popular with those coming down after going to Getting Highlands and even those who come from KL just for lunch/dinner, afterall it takes less than an hour to reach here. Wonderland Valley is one of my favourite to-go restaurants whenever I'm on my way to KL. You actually have to cross a steel one-vehicle-only bridge to get to this restaurant. Situated next to a river, there are options to dine directly next to the river or within the building itself. They have a big man-made pool (or aquarium depending how you look at it) filled with various type of fish - big and small - swimming around which I'm sure the small kids will appreciate this. ◾Steamed black tilapia with Bentong ginger - their signature dish and rightly so! Using black tilapia variant (most restaurants use red) which is void of the muddy taste that I loathe, the usage of aromatic Bentong ginger made the fish even better. There's option to add-on clams on the side but the price would be steeper. Order this ◾Deep fried chicken with ginger slices - addictive stuff! Sure it's not KFC but they didn't use any flour to coat the chicken, just simply deep fried it together with the ginger slices. Heck I like the ginger more than the meat ◾Sweet & sour pork on ice - forgettable as the dish looked like regular gu lou yuk poured on top in pike of ice cubes rather than covered altogether. ◾Braised baby wild boar with homemade sauce - this is really something! Similar to Hakka zha yuk style but using baby wild boar. They also have curry which is quite good too. ◾stuffed Bentong beancurd with minced meat - Bentong is also famous for the homemade taufu.. they stuffed with minced meat and cooked in soup. ◾stir fried tian qi leaves with egg ◾steamed herbal chicken soup - very good! The little one drank till the last drop. This restaurant is quite easy to spot as they put up signage next to the main road for easier spotting. There is a staircase leading directly to the stream below where the small kids can enjoy splashing in the water or simply dip their feet in it.

We came here for lunch on the way to bentong for a short family getaway. Needless to say you can easily find this location in waze. You have to drive pass the bridge that leading you to the open parking just beside the restaurant. Thereare 2bridge, one on the left and another on the right. Choose either one 😬. After you have parked your car, you will passed by chicken farm first. You can see the owner rare chicken, ducks and various types of fishes here. Cook to order, how fresh can that be. I like how this place is surrounded by trees and greenery. The airy environment is favourable for al-fresco dining. There are a stream too. You can choose to dine-in in the main restaurant or by the stream. We opt for the later one as we can hear the sound of the water while dining in nature. It was cooling to dine by the river as it’s covered with zinc rooftop and a lot of huge fans surrounded the outdoor area. We had;- Ginger wild boar @RM20 Steamed tri-color egg @ RM12 Kong Pou Eel @ RM 24 @ RM6.00/100g RM 4 for herbal tea and RM2 unlimited refill for rice. The eels are thick on the meat and are slightly fried then cooked with Kong Pou sauce. The Kong Pou sauce are strong but not spicy and are something that goes really well with rice. Strongly recommended this dish. The ginger wild boar are full of wok Hie but meat are bit tough. It’s nice that they use bentong ginger in the cooking. Nice And the tri color egg are smooth and silky and the eggs might be used from the chicken the owners rare here from the farm Cash and card are accepted here. Priced are not cheap here but portion are slightly bigger than what you get from KL. Definitely recommend this restaurant

We occupied 2 tables on Sunday afternoon so when it was peak hr, we waited a long time (about 45 minutes) prior to the 1st dish was placed on to the desk. We'd two variety poultry, claypot kangkung, steam seafood with lala, salted egg cuttlefish,Kung Po Eel, fried seafood balls and Tofu puff - 8 dishes altogether. IMHO, overall, the meals has more MSG in comparison with what i've ate inside Fantasyland Valley your day before.

Visited Restoran Wonderland Valley for Sunday Lunch time after it had been recommended by way of a friend, this didn't disappoint. It really is located just beyond your little village of Bukit Tinggi. The positioning is stunning being proudly located next to an easy moving jungle river with heavy vegitation includingBamboo trees. The restoran is well indication posted, after switching off a "kampung street" you quickly move over a girder bridge which markes the entry to the restoran itself. The restoran has two major sitting areas, a big area slightly from the river and an inferior area right close to, and partially above, the river. We thought we would sit close to the river. The meals served is actually Chinese (non halal), the menu is far reaching and in both Chinese & English. The meals was excellent, we'd Fresh Water Seafood, Frog Legs, crazy mushroom with ginger & springtime onion, Egg Foo Adolescent, traditionally cooked Baby Crazy Boar, La Una with Garlic & Pig Abdomen Pepper Soup. All meals were great (although in reality the soup had not been my favourite). Assistance was great and the beer cool & affordable (Carlsberg RM18 for a big bottle). The dinner was value for money. There's ample parking, thoroughly clean toilets and even a little shop selling a few of the local products (tumeric, ginger, fruit & vegtables etc etc). The restoraunt takes bank cards and is open up from 11am to 9:30pm daily except for Tuesdays. The restaurant is approximately 45mins beyond KL on the Kerak Highway, it really is located in a little kampung just beyond Bentong (Bukit Tinggi is in fact the first switch off after Genting if travelling from KL.
