We visited SHL in 2013 n once again in 2016. Meals was so good we'd dim sum breakfast, lunch time as well as supper there. It sensed like we were going to loved ones with well meaning, real and motherly aunties who offered good recommendations and produced surewe didn't over order. Foods was hearty, clean n delicious at unbelievably honest cost that brought us again last week. Wish we didn't though. Those sweet remembrances had been soured. SHL now could be just a shadow of its past glory with - super surly program of a salty lass who should be hating her sorry lifestyle - clay pot stale taufu that tasted only a shade from entering the bin, - forgettable 水菜 that has been without wok hei to create out its complete crunchy potential, - meilum ginger sauce poultry that drowned in overweight a hand with your wine, - braised yam and tummy pork which should have already been offered piping hot and metlingly fragrant had been hardly married, both virtually thrown as well as little love no period to develop a lot of a connection to tease anyone's palate - also the trademark stuffed taupok that was the stalwart of SHL (yep, apparently the today ubiquitous dish within Bentong originated right here) was only a unfortunate flotsam of bland mince within wasted pregnant taupok languishing within dish drinking water masquerading as soup... ...it is indeed the sad shadow that could soon disappear within the brightness of competition

When you are extremely hungry everything was great, we adore steam kampung poultry served with a particular supply and bentong tau fu pok. The pork stomach was tender. A bit expensive but worthwhile.

Ate there in several 7 people 14 days ago. For lunch time. My close friends loved the kampung poultry in a steamed ginger sauce/ gravy. I enjoyed the tau pok soup. Overall the meals taste was good . Support was average. Cost ? For Bentongstandards it really is on the costly side; but general i think it had been still reasonably/ only somewhat a lot more pricey than it must be. Will come again.

It was a final minute decision to consume at this place once we were so uninterested in bukit tinggi and still left the place much sooner than expected. The surroundings is needless to say so so only because the cafe is kinda old currently i think. TheHowever, the meals was amazingly great and beyond our expectation. We purchased their ginger steamed poultry and something tau pok just. The poultry was so good. I will definitely go back to have the poultry again and try other dishes too.

Foods wasn't all it had been hype around be. Ginger poultry was hard, taufu pok was as well salty, venison so-so just. A little pricy at rm72 taking into consideration the restaurant's older facade and food. Provider must be improved because the servers aren't consumer oriented.

We had supper here and ordered a springtime onion pork dish, one particular veggie dish and it's really homemade tofu dish. All three dish taste great but we felt just a little cheated once we requested for little portion but was offered a a lot bigger portion. Notsure what's the regular for a little portion sized dish right here but when the costs came, the cost of each dish will be charged in accordance with a medium part dish cost in KL. Not as well happy with the attitude of 1 of the younger employee as she has been rude.

We ordered total 5 dishes add a fish. Nevertheless, the fish developed the incorrect cooking style and finished up we cancelled it. Have the restaurant people not so honest, we were just 4 adults and 4 small children and he stated he madethe huge portion for all of us. Only that people had ordered fish after that we questioned them for moderate portion. All of the dishes resulted in with quite huge part and it’s really plenty of for all of us with the cancelled seafood order. The taste of food aren't too bad.

Worst ever spot to dine. Unhygienic and filthy kitchen. Worst may be the cook. Don't clean his hand after utilizing the toilet. This location do not deservr an individual superstar.. U should wund up your house aswell. Bladdy dirty location and large amount of fly atthe kitchen dispenser

arrive here 6pm ordered 4 dish ,kena saugther ,218,80.half poultry ,pork rib,kankong .and fish meat,cooking area bladdy eatdirty and filthy,not comfort here,in order to whom who wished to visit here make sure you think and still desire to consume here ,the taste here's out and they assist urubbish food,and make sure you do ask just before u eat or else u be exact same story as me,
