This is a massive and typical Chinese restaurant and best for families and groups, less so for just two or three friends. The meals is OK, but definitely nothing special. The new seafood in tanks had been scarce and the ones of us that are foodies don't eatTilapa! Concealed costs include your baby wipe, your peanuts (which are usually unsolicited) and other things they can think about including a couple of things you didn't order! Our 3 small meals and 2 juices found just over 80RM that is virtually what we'd spend in a Chinese eating place in Paris. I actually don't recommend the prawns with pumpkin if you don't can wrestle a complete prawn in its shell with simply chopsticks. I utilized my fingers to shell my prawns at the desk - very messy, therefore the expense of the wet wipes! The white cabbage with dried prawns was tasty, nonetheless it was excessively greasy. That is lazy cooking! This is a really Chinese restaurant for Chinese locals. Not absolutely all employees speak English even though it isn't really surprising thinking of it's in a non-touristy area of the island (10-15 a few minutes south of Georgetown), it can make the high costs even more surprising. Fisherman Wharf isn't near to the sea and much more expensive than our favourite cafe in Georgetown.
