We ordered SAMBAL UDANG PETAI, JIU HU HAR, PERUT IKAN AND OTAK-OTAK. The meals is delicious and the ambience will be good. The price is recognized as reasonable. No product sales and service tax (earlier imposed government service taxes of 6%) on costs. This NYONYA Foods restaurantwas opened up in June 2017 (about 1 & 1/2 years back).

The food was simply average and salty. Costly for the total amount served. Not worthy of coming. You can find better areas such as for example nyonya breeze

Fast change Nyonya food....reasonably cost. Best for a quick workday lunch...choices are usually many.....though sometimes parking can consume time.

Tried this nyonya eating place located from setia curve throughout from setia spice arena, penang. Great welcoming service. Two folks experienced the gulai tumis stingray and ju hu char Gulai tumis emerged in instead small portion. Costly for the portion. Flavor is okay, lacking something.Ju hu char - reasonable portion, much less fragrant as I could have liked. Lemongrass beverage is great though. Crowded on a sunday night time, easy parking.

Was having collecting with close friends at Nyonya Willow in Apr 2019. It’s very new and incredibly clean. Soya supply pork was quite slight and insufficient accompanying Sambal. The Ju Hu char was very delicious. Overall it’s like lacking of some herbal treatments & spices that’ssignature with Nyonya food

For a sunday evening parking, it really is full & busy location. We order our meals and were shock that it had been served so quick. The meals was prepared much previously and probably it must reheat it once again. The portion will be huge and plentiful. Anywaythe foods still taste good.

We had supper at Nyonya Willow on Valentines Time. We've eaten there many times during the past and knew that it's excellent. Chef Aiden and his group didn't let us down. We'd the ju hu char, the pork hong bak, timunkerabu, petai prawn sambal, nasi kerabu and achar. It had been so excellent we ordered a supplementary timun kerabu and nasi kerabu, and only both of these because the rest were totally sold-out!! The foods was so excellent, 3 of us were able to finish all that. There are several Nyonya dining places in Penang and we've tried the vast majority of them. Nyonya Willow certainly is the best!!

(visited in earlier March, before lockdown) It had been after some serious works of needed private errands that worn us out there by the finish of the day. Idea we needed just a little cheering supper and made a decision to try it out. Apparently, run simply by family. It turnedout delicous and soothing, with a peaceful, homely experience, although a family group with small children came in afterwards, when we were going to finish. Interior and external decor have already been upgraded, shall published here later, when We reach a laptop. Parking in your community could be packed, try move early if possible.

it has been some time since i have last visited Nyonya Willow, a little cozy family run eating place. i invited several business associates to get a week-day lunch we ordered : : nasi ulam (conventional rice cooked with different herb) : sambal kacang botol :lor bak (meats loaf) : telur belanda (egg dish) : dry kapitan chicken : jiu hu char (shredded turnip with dried cuttlefish) : Gulai Tumis (stingray seafood curry) it had been crowded during lunchtime & the area was very noisy because of some inconsiderate guests speaking & laughing at high quantity! The service was an impression slow & the dog owner Aiden informed they are lacking staff & Aiden was rushing everywhere to deal with the guests. The meals was awesome, good authentic nyonya flavor. it reminded nearly the same as real home cooked meals & i especially enjoy the nasi ulam that has been filled with aromatics herd. do remember to create reservation before visiting & i would suggest giving this cafe a try. i look forward to going to soon for the nasi ulam!
